Ahhhhhhhhh!!! The President is Yoon-sung’s dad!

I thought about that possibility when Chun kept saying that he knows Pres. Choi’s secret, and ordered his minion to find “the woman” – I knew he meant Kyung-hee (how instrumental did she become for the men in this show, dang!). But it was confirmed in the lunch scene when all three of them picked out their beans (I have to rewind to make sure what I saw there)….OH-EM-GEE!!

1. I am liking the President more and more, because he is the most upright and genuinely remorseful of the 5, despite still not having the cajones to own up to his wrongdoing.
2. I agree – this doesn’t feel too makjang because the plot point has been teased for a few episodes now. We were even suspecting that Jin-pyo was his real dad from the beginning.
3. Da-Hae has been crushing on her half-brother this whole time! HA!

I love that Young-ju is a very smart, capable prosecutor and not just a lame foil for our CH. His rightful indignation when he called out his superiors and emptied the seaweed boxes, knowing there was cash in there was deliciously badass! I really wish YS could come clean with him and team up FOR REAL to expose the baddies. Their veiled interactions are interesting, but I feel like it’s dragging on when Young-ju pretty much knows who YS is (despite the face mask, there is no mistaking that luscious sweep of hair), and accepts the various videos and photos that the latter sends him to help. If only YJ could flex a bit about upholding the law to a T…this could be the most amazing bromance!

Have I mentioned yet that I really dig Lee Min-Ho’s walk? It’s killer–runway-ish with a dash of prim and proper, but rounded out with plenty of funk, lol. Modern day Saturday Night Fever strut, anyone?

Good episode–but it’s gross when Yoon-Sung reverts back into his “Treat Nana badly in order to save her” shell. Snap out of it, man.

wait I don’t get it, why would Yoon-sung be the president’s son? It’s just the beans, and the mom clearly said that his father (the guy who died in 1983) also hated beans. Maybe I should just go watch the rest of the eps. before getting really confused about Yoon-sung bio-father’s true identity(as far as I know, he has 3 now, adding Choi).
