Choi Ji-woo and Yoon Sang-hyun play a couple mid-divorce in MBC’s Can’t Lose, and it looks like we’ll be seeing our fair share of bickering.
PD Lee Jae-dong expressed his satisfaction with the chemistry between the two, which is a good thing since a drama like this is pretty much held up by chemistry. While there’s sure to be other plotlines involved, really, those are setpieces for the couple to go at it, whether in a romantic sense or a dogs-and-cats-at-war sense. Usually in a rom-com the bickering’s a stand-in for courtship, but since this couple’s already been there, done that, I’m guessing that not all their fighting will have romantic undertones.
In this scene, the two lawyers go at it on the rooftop of their law firm building. Ooh, a divorce romance AND workplace romance, rolled into one? I can only imagine the weirdness/hostility/discomfort of huddling around that office’s water cooler. And, hopefully, they’ll throw in some comic office politics as well — can you imagine having to take sides in that? Awkward!
The drama also stars Kim Jung-tae, Jo Mi-ryung, Kim Ja-ok, and Sung Dong-il. Lots of solid supporting actors, so yay.
Can’t Lose is still scheduled for an August 24 premiere, which has elicited some confusion/speculation regarding the current drama in that Wednesday-Thursday timeslot, You’ve Fallen For Me. As you may know, that show’s been afflicted with a number of minor setbacks, like the PD transferring to writing duties, and Park Shin-hye’s recent car accident causing the delay of one episode and some small script alterations.
You’ve Fallen For Me aired a special instead of an episode for that one day, meaning that it now has the option to either extend by an episode or to drop one. Current speculation is leaning toward dropping one, which would mean that it ends on Episode 15. The drama’s production, however, has countered that no decisions have been made yet, and that they are considering multiple options.

i agree even in queen of housewives, that really got me to like him as taebong! i just hope he doesn’t overact coz sometimes he overdoes his character & it can get annoying! otherwise i like him as an actor i think he’s one of those attractive K actors in the field & good in acting but just don’t overdo it pls

Finally, OSKA has come to drama!!!! With the Hallyu supercoupling of The Great Oska and Jiwoo-hime, this will be the most electrifying show in the history of mankind.
So, yes, I’m looking forward to it. Ji Woo is a chemistry magnet, and Yoon Sang-hyun is due to be in a show where he can run riot.
This is related to You’ve Fallen For Me…. but maybe K-dramas should look into doing mini series that are 10 episodes long, especially for rom-coms that are not that plot driven.

LOL. But it’s a Korean drama in prime time we’re talking about here.
the premise of this story really reminds me of a japanese drama starring koyuki and an actor from Tokio. perhaps someone has already mentioned it. it’s also about a married couple, both lawyers, in the process of going through a divorice. then, as what they intended but failed to showcase, hilarity ensued.
I was thinking of the same drama when reading this too. However, I’m more interested in the coupling of Choi Ji Woo & Yoon Sang Hyun than Koyuki & Inagaki Goro (who’s from SMAP btw) in the Jdrama.

yeah i comment about this in the last post. The story seems so similar to me (the drama’s name is “Sasaki Fusai no Jingi Naki Tatakai” but the guy actor Goro is from SMAP ^^), i’m looking forward to watch it at least i’m curious to know if the two dramas really are that similar.

OMG I can’t wait for this drama! I don’t know why, but I love dramas about divorcing/divorced couples who get together!!!
The drama has 16 epi-s. First 4 will be the most hilarious parts. Then the middle 4 will become sagging, as in and outlaws meddle ,the 3rd quarter will be mellowed with sobs and tears , CJW expertise in that area , and the last part will be reunited with the pregnant wife. Hah! I’m anticipating to see the round balloon belly hime. Can’t wait. ^^^^^^^

I like YOON SANG HYUN’s rugged image in Take care of the young Lady/My fair Lady. He’s incredibly hot. He’s a good artist and acts very natural. One of my favorite Korean actors. More Power YSH.
