Me too. He’s been on my mind (and in my heart) a lot this week with all the talk about the high levels of stress, depression, and insomnia that many K-drama actors experience. But these are tears that I need to release, so I’m grateful for the song. And in addition to a good cry, this playlist also gave me a good laugh (thanks to the adorkable Daniel Choi and Uhm Tae-woong), and several good tunes (so far I’m especially digging Kim Kang Woo’s and Lee Jun Hyuk’s). JB, once again~ chongmal kamsahamnida!
Heartbreaking. This week reminded me of a few other k-actors/actresses who chose to end their lives prematurely as well. T_T
On the other hand, this playlist is filled with gems that cheer us up such as the ones you mentionned. Choi Daniel and Uhm Tae Woong are so dorky together and I dig CD’s voice a lot. He has been my “flavor of the month” ever since The baby-faced beauty especially in the scene [spoiler alert] where his father agrees to his marriage. I squealed! Their talk was daebak. His reactions were priceless, I wish I had been “appa” to redo the hug many times. ^^[end spoiler alert]
As for Lee Jun Hyuk, I was so pleasantly surprised to see him perform on the I am legend drama, which was a mess btw.
I couldn’t bring myself to listen to his playlists after that happened. =(

I, too, find it weird to hear some actors sing (not necessarily because they sing like a dying cat, but because… they just don’t sing for a career). Heh, I didn’t noticed there wasn’t any Kim Soo Hyun until someone mentioned it. He did a good job. You know who else did a good job? LEE HYUN JIN ! My disappointment to find out his (sadly) short song with the gukak girls isn’t on the OST

I was listening to the songs in this post when I signed in on Facebook and saw a video a friend posted. It was Park Bo-young singing “Walking on sunshine” in the movie Speed Scandal. Took me awhile to figure out what movie it was. But when I first saw Cha Tae-hyun on bass and his goofy smile, the adorable Park Bo-young and the cute kid (sorry I don’t know his name), I knew I have to watch that movie soon. And Park Bo-young can sing too.
I forgot to mention, but back when I am Legend was airing and I was reading the recaps because I dropped the series, Lee Jun-hyuk’s “You” was played on my iPod everyday. I was so in love with this man’s voice, and I still am. The duet with Kim Jung-eun is nice too.
It seems like the main characters in Story of a Man are in this playlist as well.
(I don’t really want to think that Park Yong-ha is really gone, because he was a huge loss in the industry and in the people’s lives as well.)

Oh wow… as many times as I’ve heard that Secret Garden OST throughout the drama, I never had a clue it was Binnie singing it. I didn’t want to be biased since I am sort of a Binnie fangirl but I’m glad I got to hear him sing before I knew it was him. He’s quite good!
Gu Hye Sun I’ve heard before and I enjoy her singing. She has a very pretty voice. And it was a bossanova song so of course I am going to instantly like it.
