Thanks gals, this was a great job for you both. Especially great, I should say, because you always deliver solid work. You took the tone and translated into something easy and palatable for readers like me, who, watched this show despite recent death in the family. Rock on!

Your commentary of the entire series was entertaining and thought provoking at best! I watched the series first before delving into a review part just to see my interpretation against what the reviewer thought as well as seeing little nuances that I missed that could better explain the overall story. You are a great reviewer and did a fantastic job in shedding the ups and downs, the good, bad and ugly to us all. I look forward to reading more insights to future drama deconstructing from you.

I really liked the show. I was crying so much! But I have to say I'm kind of sad they didn't get married for real. I think it would have been a nice ending as well... Even though this ending is "good" it still leaves me completely restless... so sad but so good!

Wow thank you so much for the recaps.
I've been watching Scent of a Woman and around episode 10 I couldn't stand watching (as you put it) Sekyung and Co. prance around ruining people's lives with their gigantic ego. And so I decided to find out what happens by reading recaps and I found myself laughing at times and even shedding tears.

I just want to say that you're an amazing writer, that you've got talent. And so thank you so much.

My eyes were brimming with tears when I read that Ji-wook drew a smiley face on the page with Yeon-Jae wanting to sleep in the arms of the one she loves. Next thing you know, Yeon-Jae's not dead, and I'm cracking up at your "fakey fakerson" line. HAHAHAHA.

Thanks so much girlfriday! You're amazing.

one thing i really couldn't get over tho was kim sun a's thinness. it bothered me a lot cos of how haggard she looked. her whole image just screamed general health issues down the road :( depressing.

ya, i don't like what actors have to do to their bodies to achieve a look for a role ... period!

This was a much better ending than 49 Days. Experimental drugs do sometimes extend a person life or can shorten it. I cried from the beginning to the end. OMO, when she GAVE Sae-kyung Wilson's ring, I cried the hardest!! I hope to be able to do something like that before I died. I made my bucket list of 100 things to do before I die when I was diagnosed with cancer in 2003; now 8 years later and still here, I can say I have whittled slowly on my list but this gives me the strength and hope to continue. I know its a drama, but I love these dramas that deal with realistic situations (Thank You, another favorite of mine). I think this also explains my fascination with Korean Dramas because sometimes they do focus on real life situations. I hate most of the US TV shows, especially the road they have taken to mostly reality TV; except for crime dramas (a rare few comedies I might watch), I don't even watch American TV. Watching this drama solidified that fact from this day forward. Well done!! I've now added some new names to my favorite actors list; Lee Dong Wook and Uhm Ki-Joon; I was already a fan of Kim Sun-A and Seo Hyo Rim but Hyo Rim as an evil b!tch, loved it!! Oh man, now I have no idea what to watch next. I guess its back to Tree with Deep Roots!!
