Lee Da-hae launches new jewelry line

After the recent success of Miss Ripley and her successful fan meeting and CG shoots in China, Lee Da-hae is continuing her streak with a new jewelry line, which launched on October 10.
Lee’s jewelry line was launched by Mzuu, which is headed by the designer Park Min-joo. If that name sounds familiar at all, it’s because she’s the younger sister of Park Shi-yeon, who co-starred in My Girl with Lee. On the jewelry brand Mzuu’s homepage, Lee is seen sporting the items from her new line, which were designed to fit her rather casual personality.
Mzuu designed a bracelet that was often worn by Lee’s character in Miss Ripley, and the spokesperson of the design house has stated that due to Lee’s soft spot for their brand, they had decided to come up with a line specifically with Lee’s personality and fashion sense in mind.
I know this girl has lost some of her popularity since her days of My Girl, but I still have a soft spot for her. She starred in Lotus Flower Fairy back in 2004 that kept me running back to the local Asian grocery store every other day for the next VHS tape of the series. True, Lee has been involved in more negative press than she’d like to admit in the past few years, but the girl has some tenacity and stuck it through. That gets her some brownie points, no?
Well, I for one am happy for her and hopes she starts to win the graces back of her Korean fans with these new projects.

I was in kdrama-marathon-hiatus mode when all the issues vs LDH came out.
So for me, she's just this amazingly funny actress who made me cry bucketloads in My Girl and the root-for-her-or-kill-her-I-can't-freaking-decide anti-heroine in Miss Ripley.

Odd face? compared to 80% korean stars with obvious plastic faces and fake noses, she looks so usual. much much more nutural.

She hit it big as a comeback piece with Miss Ripley - she needs to wring every last drop out of that successful appearance to generate as much goodwill as possible within the industry and the public.

She's so famous in China but less popular in Korea, isn't that ironic! But either way, even if she will become non-existence in Korea like Chae Rim and make it big in China, I will still follow her.
I love her even more knowing that she studied chinese so hard all these years. Proven by her speaking skills on those chinese variety shows. It really shows her determination.
More so, I love her spunky personality. Sometimes too outspoken for her antis taste..

I just finished My Girl (after Scent of Woman, wanted more of LDW!), and she's had a considerable amount of plastic surgery, would be my guess. I don't personally know her, so I can't ask; however......I may not be a weatherman, but I know rain when I see it.....
But who cares!?? Everyone is doing it. It is so common place in Korea now. You see the girls on the subway fairly frequently with their black and blue faces covered by a mask and hat...

Even if "everyone (else) is doing" plastic surgery, I just feel that it's such a pity for LDH, because she was already so beautiful.....and now she just looks so plastic. She totally didn't need the "work" - such a shame! Seriously, the girl had way too much Botox or something. You can barely make out her facial expressions, because nothing seems to move on her face! I still love her as an actress though. LDH Fighting!!

I agree too... I first saw her in My Girl and really, really, really love her. So much so that I hunted out her dramas. Then watched Green Rose and I love that too. But the next few dramas I wasn't that impressed with, and the last that I watched, Chuno--I was actually quite disappointed in her role. Reading the comments here, I will need to watch Lotus Flower Fairy and Ripley. She was so cute and bubbly, but now I feel that she looks kinda...sad?
