So these are cute: Wild Romance has released its first posters featuring its two leads, Lee Dong-wook and Lee Shi-young. He’s a dumb jock baseball player, she’s the even dumber bodyguard assigned to protect him… from a rabid anti-fan. Hee.
A few more details: He’s the cocky problem child of his pro baseball team, despite Oh Man-seok’s attempts to be the guiding hyung/sunbae on the team. She’s a former judo athlete and goes into the job already itching to unleash her hot temper on the arrogant bastard, and Dumb and Dumber fall in love.
I’ll be honest; I’m a sucker for the bickering romance, so this is right up my alley. The trouble is, it’s pretty hard to hit that sweet spot between cute bickering (say, Samsoon) and tiresome yelling (Full House), but when it’s done right it has me in stitches. It doesn’t hurt that the writer has a sharp and quirky style (Mixed-Up Investigative Agency, Alone In Love).
My big dilemma? Wild Romance premieres the same day that The Moon That Embraces the Sun does, on January 4. Everyone, get your extra sleep hours in now, while you can.

kind of protect the boss-ish wonder if the lead guy scared of her too. Be a shame for her to kick ar#s and then fall for him and have to get the famous korean male jerk treatment, much more funny when the guy chancing the girl and scared of her at the same time!
I don’t think they will go through the coward falls for the badass girl route. As you can see above Dumb and Dumberer looks more like it and bad boy against bad girl (ups where is Cinderella/Candy and her chabeol:))) omg how could they forget this cliche?)
Ahhhh i sooo want to watch dis…but d hair is way too horrid to watch. I am trying to get past it by watching the trailers and posters thinking i ll get used to it and it wont bother me much but no luck yet

I used to dislike LSY, but after watching Birth of a Rich Man… I fell in love with her. I’ll be watching this for sure.

Cute posters! One of the things I really like about LSY is that she has an aura of intelligence about her– even though I hate her horrific hairstyle here, it’s helping me to imagine her as being “dumber”.

I’m looking forward to this comedy, but am hoping that the comedy aspect skews more towards snarky rather than cartoonish, prat-falls, heavy on the riposte, light on the take-downs by LSY.

Alone in Love was so amazing that I’ll have to check this one out and pretend that LSY’s hair is not that bad.

Bickering couples are a lot of fun when done well (i.e. – “My Princess”, “Coffee Prince” – altho for the latter, it was more of a “bromance” for much of the series), but when it is nothing more than shrill yelling (like in “Secret Garden”), there’s little fun at all and it’s just annoying.
I’m so looking forward to this!! I’ve been a fan of Lee Shi-young since she was on We Got Married, and even though it wasn’t an acting role, I loved her tough straight to the point personality. I’ve seen her in a few things, but I hope this is her breakout drama!
I’m excited to see Lee Dong-wook as well since I’ve only seen him play the serious (hottie) chaebol. I for one welcome the douchestache. haha.
Like someone already said, the first thing WILD about this show is their hair.
