Kim Bum to cameo on High Kick 3

Aw, yay, I love how everyone is jumping on the cameo train for High Kick‘s Season 3. Kim Bum, one of the breakout stars who made it big after the original Unstoppable High Kick, will be swinging by the current season for a cameo appearance, out of loyalty to the franchise. Or maybe he just couldn’t let his buddy Jung Il-woo outshine him in the cameo department.

He already shot his episode over the last two days, for a storyline involving Soo-jung (Crystal)’s character. It would be nice to give Soo-jung a few more layers, other than the allowance-monger and annoying kid sister (and let’s not forget her violent temper), because she’s one of the more two-dimensional characters in that universe. Perhaps Kim Bum will be another 24-hour boyfriend? It’d be better if he were someone more meaningful, like the way they used Yoon Shi-yoon‘s cameo as part of Ha-sun’s really sad and touching backstory. I’d love it if Soo-jung could be given some depth like that, ’cause mostly I find her bratty.

There’s just something really sweet about guys like Kim Bum and Jung Il-woo coming back to do cameos for the franchise that made them popular. Warm fuzzies, all around. Kim Bum just wrapped on his cable drama Padam Padam, and is traveling throughout Asia for fanmeetings and such. His cameo will appear in Episode 108, which airs Thursday March 8.

I may be the only one who likes long hair on most of these guys but I LOVE his hair this way. *hee* It's just frickin' smexy.
Can't wait for his next drama and praying no one tries to cut off his locks.

LOL, smexy without a doubt ! He could play in a sageuk with his own mane of glory, doesn't need a wig.
I also hope that he eats properly... Why do i feel like a mother with all those starving kids ?

Kim Bum + weird sageuk headwear = ehhhh...

Some people look great in those wacky hats (Park Yoochun, for one), but I think they'd overpower Kim Bum's delicate beauty =X

I didn't think about the noble's outfits. Rather the black ones worn by the assassins like Unah in WBDS or PSH's character in Princess Man. To be honest i'm not fond of the beads hats.

Wonder if any of the HK3 characters will be given lines addressing the obvious change in Bummie's appearance?
He sure isn't the 'Let-me-pinch-those-chubby-sweet-cheeks' (hey! I'm referring to his face!) boy he used to be.

Kim Bum really changed over these three years. He was such a cutie boy back in his BOF days, but now he looks pretty much like a man. I think I like the younger him...

Did you watch Padam Padam? I ask because I was totally shocked with his new appearance, and I preferred him cute and boyish. But this look really grew on me the more I watched the drama, and I really like it now.

That may just be me though.
