Lee Ki-woo joins Standby to romance Jung So-min

Lee Ki-woo has picked his next TV project, and well, that does it; now I’m just going to have to watch Standby, aren’t I? Especially since he’ll be embarking on a bickering romance with Jung So-min, the gullible village girl in the big city. Sweet!
As the latest addition to the MBC sitcom set in a television station, Lee Ki-woo plays a character named Ryu Ki-woo, which means he’s going to be playing Ryu Jin’s younger brother. (When actors are cast as siblings in sitcoms, they’ll often keep their first names and then just adjust the family name to match the elder actor, like Seo Ji-seok did in High Kick 3.)
The character of Ki-woo has an optimistic, sociable nature and is full of good cheer. He’s handsome and charming on the outside, but in actuality he’s a mischievous type, and “has everyone wrapped around his finger.” What, like that’s bad? *Unwraps self momentarily.* I love how both brothers are described as looking cool and perfect, but are all quirky on the inside. (Elder brother Ryu Jin is desperate to make it to the big time as a news anchor and starts on a campaign to advance himself at the station.)
Jung So-min lives downstairs from Ki-woo, and the two will embark on a “cute love story.” Aww, I can’t wait. Standby premieres in April.

Meh not a fan of Jung So Min she is overrated. She only stood out on Playful Kiss because her partner was Kim Hyun Joong. Anyone paired with that blockhead will stand out, that's why she is getting so much credit.
Saw her in Bad Guy and her acting wasn't that great.

@buola she did not stood because of playful kiss,even before playful kiss she got her attention because of her act in bad guy.you don't like her character in bad guy mean that shes done a great job,her character annoyed me too in bad guy,but that just how it is.saying shes overrated doesn't made u any godd.

You must be joking. Your logic fails because let me tell you this, playful kiss was my 1st korean drama - i discovered it on accident. Basically i had no clue who anyone was, not even kim hyun joong. And guess who i stayed for? OH HA NI. aka, jung so min. NOT kim hyun joong. I like him, i'm just saying.
She played oh ha ni FLAWLESSLY. And if her acting sucked so bad i wouldn't be so obsessed with k-dramas today. cause then i would've turned playful kiss off and stopped watching.

Overrated? Well, that's a first.
I guess the people who gave her a full scholarship to the Korean Arts University must be crazy, including the administration that gave her an award for excelling in her field of studies (which was only given to seven other students in the whole university).
People praise her because she's got the talent. And how can she be overrated when she isn't even that popular in her home country?

first she get a full scholarship before she enter the entertaiment business,and she always always got top score on her studies.you must not judge someone who you just read by an article you don't even know why the university gave her the scholar.jealous people-_____-!

this had better get subbed! 12 men in a year has taught me that i should not get excited before i know i'll be able to watch it, but damnit this sounds so good!

I think the guys really lucky to have jung so min as their leading partner in there sitcom stanby..because jung so min was very pretty and too young to them..I love min min and i want her to do a drama with an actor level with her age..
