I feel like I must be the only one who doesn’t quite appreciate this drama as much as everyone else. The jokes to me seem a little over the top….I understand that the guys are from the Joseon period and would not be acquainted to most things of this era, but still….holding your finger up to stop the bleeding? I’m sure that even people from that era would think to wrap it up with a cloth or something…. It’s gotten a point where it’s not a mere case of fish out of water, but just plain stupidity. Surely the prince and the men he personally appointed would not be that stupid? (one of them is even supposed to be a genius of some sort apparently)

And that last part where he caused a scene at the catwalk when he saw Se Na…..I understand that he’s emotional, but surely a PRINCE would have some sense of propriety not to act out that way in public? (and surely, he must know it’s not really the Crown Princess?)

Rather than being portrayed as men being out of their usual element, they seem more like men who are just plain out of their minds.

And I thought I was the only one who got reminded of 49 days. I totally agree with your comment. But I think this is way waaaaaaay better than 49 days, plot wise and acting wise. Btw Yoochun has improved so so much. Actually, I hesitated to start with this drama. I’m glad that I gave it a chance. I’m anticipating more Episodes and want to thank you for all your effort recapping this, Java. Fighting!

That’s what I thought at first, but all of his grief flashbacks are clearly referencing the older sister, unless they are pulling some massive bait-and-switch. And I don’t think his reaction to the now!princess points to a bait-and-switch.
