how i wish the plot would never take a turn too deep into the bottom pit of doom. but then again, without a turning point, there wont be a significant character development thats enough to move us all ;(

I bet that’s exactly the writers’ intention to end the show. They just left a loophole to bring back Gong Yoo’s face and body in the ending scene.

this drama at first was pretty good but now its soo draggy ugh. i couldnt even finish the episodes so i go on to read recaps and even reading it makes me feel omg its so boring.

I have a lot of feelings about Big and I’m mighty confused about a lot of it e.g. the fact that there is not much of a reason for why they can’t be together once he returns to his own body?? I don’t see the hugeness of the conflict. Is it really just the parents/awkwardness/she will appear like a skanky mcskank, moving from one brother to the other? I don’t see how that’s such a big deal, especially for a Drama, where stakes are usually higher. Also the other conflict (that you mentioned GF) is the whole will-he-won’t-he save him thing. Um, isn’t dying soon in YJ’s body the alternative? I don’t see much of a choice in the matter so I didn’t really get the conflict.
But can I just say, this: “I want enough time in the final week for Da-ran to show us that she loves Kyung-joon the same in his own body, and if they don’t switch back now, there’s not a lot of screentime left to convince me. I’m not worried that she won’t, but I need to see it in drama time to be left satisfied at the pairing, because we’ve spent ninety percent of the drama getting attached to the hero in the wrong body.” Is exactly what I’ve been feeling the last several episodes! I want them to end up together but I can’t support the pairing if I don’t see physical proof of them interacting with KJ in his own body. I’ve grown way too attached to GY and LMJ on screen together (laughing, crying, kissing, being in looove), it will just be really unsatisfying if they leave it at a stupid time skip and a vague, “Oh, it’s you.” at the very end.

Aggggh, this is so frustrating! I love Da Ran and KKJ together not matter what. Maybe an ending where he grows up (looking like his yoon) and falling in love with her again!!!! That would be a perfect ending. I’ll be mad if they kill of KKJ!

I wonder sometimes if Korean writers read blogs like this and get to know what the fans are saying – because I know that ratings are all the rage, but I wish they would treat their audience as if we had brains. It gets so frustrating with all the noble idiocy and proclamations that make no logical sense.

Agreed. I think the “Twins” thing was just to add another level of betrayal and unfairness to Kyung-joon’s angst. Not that he heeded it. But it worked. I was like “Man, this kid can not catch a BREAK.” Before, he was at least conceived with a purpose. But now, he’s just the “spare” that they kept around just in case. I know that a lot of rational people keep embryos frozen so that they can have more children later but I think we can all agree that, once Yeon Jae was born healthy, Crazy Mom had no intention of having Kyung Joon and never gave him a second thought until Yeon Jae got sick.
