While I don’t share the same kdrama history as Girlfriday and Javabeans-I started watching dramas in 2007-I’m still pretty psyched for this show! I really love the premise, the “How I Met Your Mother” transitions, and especially the characters.

I’ve already marked Eun Ji-won’s character as my favorite. The cool kid/ladies man who’s actual kryptonite happens to be girls? I can just picture myself dying of laughter with every female encounter he has! I also loved Girlfriday’s description of him as a “babbling spastic idiot” I cracked up instantly at that.

The only problem is I may have to do some homework beforehand so I don’t miss any references. Anyone know a good information source on Korean pop culture in the 1990′s?

Oh wow! sounds interesting. I might give it a try since I decided to try Shut Up and was pleasantly hooked to that drama. This sounds similarly fun =) hope there are more cameos..

Love open mic. I mean there are private karaoke rooms in the U.S. now and those can be fun too, but open mic bars are the awesomest test of bravery (or foolishness/craziness) that ever existed. Hahaha.

Nothing wrong with that. Down in Samoa, it was the norm for guys back in the 90s to be into BSB and NSYNC – it was not something to be embarrassed about. It was cool then. Hell, they’ll still sing to the songs today if it pops up on the radio or something. XD

Same here. I listened to what big sis listened to, which was everything from reggae, to pop, to hip hop, island jams and a bit of rock (I came into my own with rock music later in my own teen years). This will be awesome.

Looking forward to seeing my Jiwon again. HEHEHEHE

I was in high school in 1997, but I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t have been able to locate Korea on a map at the time. I’m still psyched for this show, though…substitute “Hanson” for “H.O.T.” and you pretty much have my life.
