Okay, so sue me if I am watching this in MAY '13???!!! I was too obsessed with Faith when VP2 came out of fall '12. And VP1 was so boring I had to finish it first before finishing VP2.

Loved VP2! The directing was better, dialogue wittier, bromance was better, and romance was still a BIG tease (Don't know if Tae-Yeon sees Jung-In as a more of a sister or love interest-he gives nothing away).

You know Prosecutor Park has to be Big Blood. He's a male because Dr. Blood said Big Blood was a "him" and in the ending, the person that took off hood was a wearing a suit.

Really shipping TY and JI. I know he lubs her, he just ain't showing it whereas JI is wearing her heart on her sleeve. I hope she's not a vampire (ruined) as what Luna alluded to. But I wouldn't really mind if she was a vampire and ends up kicking Yeon-Ji's butt.

Can't wait for VP3....how could they not make a 3rd season? That would just be wrong to leave all these loose ends unraveled.

i think you're spot on. Since I watched VP1 & VP2 back to back, I could totally see how they're stylistically different. I liked the style in VP1 better. Everything was shiny and had this other-world quality to it. And watching the last moment of the victim was cool. More so than us seeing it reflected in his eyes in VP2.

The second season was way more gory for me than necessary. The endless fighting and killing (ep1) just turns you off and you get kind of numb after awhile.

The characters had to grow a bit but I thought it was such a big turn. For me, part of his attraction was how he doesn't show too much emotion and yet he also shows us that it's there in the bits of dialogues and expressions in VP1. But in 2, the bantering between boy/girl seemed like a huge leap. (the scene where Jun-in helped him cuff all the bad guys) For me, he lost some of his appeal by going from lone wolf to very apparent papa bear.

I WANT SEASON 3 PRONTO! STAT!

For me, this was such a brilliant season. The level of darkness and gore didn't feel pointless, because they were all there for a thematic reason. That's why I am actually disagreeing that the show has lost any of its heart, 'cause that pain was there for a reason. To show us this side of humanity that will do anything to survive, even if it means they lose sight of what it means to survive.

In all, FREAKING LOVED EVERY SINGLE EP. Esp the last one.

Woah-ho-ho! That was such a shocking ending, I definetley think there is going to be a season 3- If they don't continue with the relationship between Min and Yoo I might just have to turn a little vampy myself!!
This series I felt had started with a plan for a season 3, it was more of a plot developing series to introduce the 3rd I thought. Again, beautifully done- the cinematography is just as good as season 1. The acting is sublime and the tension between Min and Yoo is Palpable.
My theories:
We didn't see much of our season 1 villain in this series, only that he was lying in a bed in a mystery condition- even though he had no character interaction really, they did start to strongly hint at him coming back- e.g. The scene where his fingers twitched- that has to be him coming back to reality and that's why I think, he is the one who pulled off Min's mask in the end.
Yoo isn't dead- First of all, Red eyes just bit her to try and tempt Min- she lost hardly any blood so she must be alive, plus if she had been dead- There would have been a longer scene with her and Min- they have been building up their relationship throughout the entire two series- they are not simply just going to throw away the main female lead.
When returning to season 3 (I'm pretty sure they will have one) I think that Min and Yoo will be back as prosecutors and the whole finale's riddles will be solved with a series of flashbacks, Yoo will be human but will now know about Min being a vamp and so she'll be in on the whole shindig- Also we have that whole president scene from the first episode- I have no idea how they are going to link that in, except that that vamp president is now going to be bad blood or something.
What I want for season 3:
I hope they will be more of a background for Yoo and also the other characters- Luna's probably not dead and our season 1 villain will return and kick out the new turtle boss somehow (Min will defo return as a prosecutor).
Also- I want to see how red-eyes turns out- again- he can't be dead since they would be just throwing away a major lead which has opened up so many possible plots.
I definetley want to see more romance between Yoo and Min- this has been building up for 2 seasons now- and its clear that he feels the same way about her (the whole earring thing, the episode where she was a model- it's clearly suggesting a relationship).
For our little Dr.'s Daughter, she will have to be taken off by Min and Yoo it seems-which will be interesting- Dr obviously entrusted her to Min, and he feels the same responsibility
AH- I just can't wait for season 3!

I really hate this. do I have to wait next year for another season? I too love to see another vampire in the series but probably the good one and may be woman, so Runa? if they gonna make season 3, why kill Runa? I really like her character, and she is one of the very few persons to know Prosecutor Min is a vampire ..and she's pretty..though I dont know why so many people soooo interested with Yeon Ji. well since prosecutor Min is sooo cute hot and I think I got more questions than answers for this season, I think I will tune for another season.

Not to mention that they all somehow understand Japanese without a translator..? LOL. But I definitely noticed the eyeliner and leather jacket.

I also got a Korean Vampire Taken vibe from Dr. Jo. "I don't know who you are, but I will find you and I will kill you." Yeahh, Korean Liam Neeson!

Awwww I need season 3..well i'm sure there will be..i hope jung in becomes a vampire also in season 3 (a good one)..and please don't let red eyes died just like that..i wish he could still be alive and becomes a good vampire after what he's been through with tae yeon..both tae yeon and red eyes are HOT as hell. And it'll be better to show a lot more love relationship in S3..between tae yeon and jung in, red eyes and luna....i'm sure we would love to see that. VAMPIRE PROSECUTOR ROCKSSSSS !!! the best K-drama everrrrr
