I LOVED Gaksitaaaaal! And Queen inhyun’s man a lot,I Still love them,and rewatching them make me fresh,

Realy,The last scene of Gaksital with its special ost makes me feel proud,cry,then i want to make a fist pumping

I just skipped to the Taste O’ Meter verdicts for fear of spoilers. Loved it!

On Gaksital:
“1930s Korea isn’t the easiest waters to tread, but I loved that it dared to shine a spotlight on some of the darkest moments in history.”

I’d love to have one black and white cookie. Yin and yang.

On Arang and the Magistrate:
“Tastes like…: Ghouly and eerie, kind of reminds you of liver. Wait, that’s not right.”

To self: But I like liver~! And I’m not even vampire-ish. Wait…that’s not right either.

And so Nice Guy is forgettable…?

Haven’t come here for a long time…

Gaksital is really the best, the awesomest Kdrama I’ve seen this year… maybe because it’s the only show I really followed through, inspite of the other shows (like Faith, Arang…). It’s great how all the storyline or plot came together even though the characters have their own past stories.. Kudos again to the writers and director for bringing us Gaksitaaaaaal!

And maybe I’ll try to watch Arang some other time, or Jeon Woo-chi first? Maybe the latter first..

I agree with you. queen In Hyun’s Man was awesome. And very addictive. I love the Flower series so far and am looking forward to the next one aS well.

I actually was deceived by Big and Full house 2, I was really eager to watch these 2 dramas but ended up disappointed especially BIG I was expecting something “big” but was really disappointed by the story (its end!!)
as for FULL HOUSE 2 they shouldn’t have called it Full house at all, I’ve watched the 5 first episodes and didn’t like it at all so I didn’t continue…
But I LOVED Nice guy!!! Really amazing drama, I’ve never watched with Song Joon Ki and for a first time seeing him I found him incredibly great as a protagonist!
so I think that for the moment NICE GUY is the drama that I really enjoyed watching <3
(I'm currently watching Alice in Cheongdamdong which is actually really great, and Missing you nice drama too but a bit boring sometimes)… ow my post is a quite long :/

Oh my! I kinda thought the same thing, hahaha. Actually, while watching that drama I started to look at my own eyebrows to see if mine were so weird and at the end I was a little bit obsess with everybody’s eyebrows.

Answer Me has the same feel as Proposal Daisakusen (JDrama). These are the dramas where I felt the nostalgia of high school and the 90s.

Also liked the food-taste+drama link. So here’s mine:

Padam, Padam = white chocolate frosting on moist red velvet cupcake. It went directly to my Favorite Rewatch List for the lead character’s story, his angelic (awesome magic-realistic) sidekick, his adoring gazes at his Love. The cinematography was stunning. Just an unforgettable work of art.

While I can understand the love for the high school dramas, and I really tried to stick to SUFFB cuz of the raves here, they are not my cup of tea. (I just read the AM1997 recaps; wasn’t going to invest the time)

I appreciate having db to steer me away from the Bigs, etc. There are too many good dramas to watch for the first time and RE-watch to waste time on duds.
