What a waste of the good 16 hours of life for this tripe! I didn’t have to do that so it was partially my own fault.

The writing was pretentious, pointless and awkward as others have already pointed out. I have never seen MGY in anything but heard so much good things about her. So there was a whole of expectations going in but I have to say I am disappointed. I do think she’s got the chops but it was not coming through in the interpretation for this drama. I have seen quite a few PSH dramas (and believe or not, he’s one of my husband’s favorite) and I’ve always remembered him as a competent and charismatic actor. But terrible in this drama, he was, with either over the top and very self-aware actings, or half of the time he looked constipated or bloated or suffering from some sort of digestive problems…

I so love this drama…I feel like that the only way you could appreciate this drama is if you like characters with a certain touch of darkness in them, if you’re the type who appreciate villains as the lead in the story….if you like the good girl type who is strong and morally right then this drama is not for you…
I like Se Kyung, Yoon joo and Tommy the best, how they used people to their own advantage…The thing is people used other people to their own advantage whether they realize it or not…I love that they recognize what they do is wrong and is not morally right and make no excuses for it….

The best scene in this drama was when Shin In-hwa did a double switcheroo and a swipereroo in the same scene. She switched tablets twice and uploaded to Dropbox in about 2 minutes. Why on earth did Tommy Hong leave the tablet lying on the table? I guess he really believed it when he said life wasn’t like a drama. Only he didn’t realize that he was *in* a drama! Duh – duh – duuuuh!

This has led me to believe that no one thinks they are in a drama in episode 1. (Meaning just because nothing is remarkable today doesn’t mean something special won’t happen tomorrow)

The best line was when Yoon Joo said “We’ve already lost. We forgot one thing”. At that moment I paused the video and drew on my many hours of watching dramas. What do I know about Korean women from dramas? They are cool on the outside, fiery and passionate on the inside. I thought “she is going to say ‘In-hwa’s’ a woman”. And she did!

Some things I’ve learned from K-dramas
1. If you are meeting someone, make sure you aren’t being followed.
2. Meet them in private.
3. Don’t leave things lying around.
4. Don’t leave them alone in the room
5. If they say they have to leave immediately or go to the bathroom, something is up
6. Always encrypt your data

In general, it pays to be paranoid.

7. The most important lesson : Korean woman : Your best friend and your worst enemy.

A good kiss needs to be well executed by both sides. PSH did lead the kiss and you can see that he tried to give her a good kiss but MGY’s body was so stiff and she did not kiss him back at all, that’s why the kiss looked so awkward.

I think I know who you two are talking about. That means I’m not alone feeling what I feel when I come to her blog.

During her last recaps of IMY, she was so overwhelmed with her hatred and disappointment that she no longer wrote and connected with the scenes. You know… it’s like just doing it carelessly. I came to that realization after reading recaps for the same episodes from different blog. This one the writer could actually express the hidden emotion and meaning from each scene. the recap was much more understandable and meaningful.

What made me laugh was how her followers nodded their heads in agreement for whatever she said. Pity them…

I totally agree with you. I honestly believe in her character. Perhaps because I love her so much. I do have one regret though…the final kiss….(the much awaited kiss) I wish it could be done better. Si Hoo should lead the kiss since MGY is inexperienced in kissing scenes although she can act so well….

I his interview, he once said he would grab the lady tightly before kissing the lady. Why didn’t he do that?

Overall, I enjoyed the drama and miss my Saturday night excitement….
