I too am disappointed that Muyeon seemed to have no purpose in this episode. I also wonder why she was the only one to lose power. Does she no longer serve a purpose in the story now that Masuk’s silver-mine plan has failed? I am hoping that she does not remain the typical female figure who is desired by both parties or who doesn’t take any initiative. I hope that I am not speaking too soon but I have been paying careful attention since it was revealed that she lost her power. Also, am I the only one who feels that the chemistry between Muyeon and Woochi is lacking? Where is the passion and the romance?

I do not know how I feel about this show. At times it is witty and action-packed, but at other times I feel like I am watching it dispassionately, without much investment in what is taking place. I will see how this show progresses.

So, I’m glad the king is gaining courage in fighting his officials, but I don’t want him to lose Dad. Not really. I would accept it if the king used his death as a catalyst to mess up the evil plots circulating around him. Just for that. I really detest his officials.

I really want Mu-yeon to get her powers back, and soon, because she really had no purpose this episode. Which pissed me off.

I hope Woo-chi can stop the execution, or the deputy editor, or even, and I know this is too fantastic to even contemplate, Kang-rim can finally listen to sense and stop it. I know he won’t, but still, it doesn’t hurt to wish for it, right?

Thanks for the recap! I really enjoyed this episode actually, the writing really has improved tremendously since the first ten episodes. Once they moved on from the whole “saving Mu-yeon” story, the pace has really picked up and some of the side-characters finally have things to do. The ending to the episode was a great cliff-hanger. I look forward to seeing what’s going to come from this twist in the story.

so the Mu-yeon he loves is a mindless puppet who’s asleep half the time, someone needs to go find sleeping beauty and not wake her up

Somehow I hoped that book from Hong Gil Dong come out again in use… in order for Woo-Chi to power up. And hope somehow they find a way to restore Muyeon’s power as well.

And I find Kangrim saying he’s disappointed in Muyeon and that ‘his lover’ dies… is just delusional. I mean… he had Muyeon being hypnotized into being their ally, so that means as long as Muyeon under his control she’s her perfect lover? Pif~

Btw, do we have an explanation on why Kang Rim’s power is increased ?

This show would be better with less of the soppy scenes and more fun. Scenes of Kang-Rim with Mu-Yeon is now auto-skip for me.

If only they made Woo-Chi a gallivanting wanderer.
