Comments on: Go Joo-won to play Yoo Inna’s love interest

I’ve always kinda liked Go Joo Won, but I cannot give people an explanation of why. He’s good looking, but not very strikingly good looking like a lot of other korean actors. Moreover, he doesn’t have the charm/charisma to carry the weight of a main character and he’s definitely not a good actor. On top of that, he doesn’t seem to be very picky with his projects and doesn’t seem to be putting in a lot of effort into becoming a “real” actor.

Despite all that, I’ve always just kinda liked him. He seems like a decent guy and I appreciate his calm/quiet demeanor.

A lot of Koreans certainly have a ton of hiking gear. When I was living there I’d go for a walk on a mounain* in my normal clothes and pass tons of Koreans with two sets of “ski polls” and full hiking uniform, usually including a hat.

*To me if there’s rock under the dirt it’s a mountain not a hill.

Ooh ..bickering their way into romance?! Sounds like the couple in Reply 1997. Haha….have not seen Yoo Inna since a long long time but I don’t really like long dramas. Still in a dilemma whether to watch.

I live in Korea and I’d say the trend isn’t camping but more that people enjoy hiking and always want to have the best gear. I used to live near Nambu-san which is like a 25 minute hike. Everyone always had jackets, hats, packs, sticks, the works. I thought it was ridiculous and made fun of them…until an ajusshi pulled my ass up a steep part of Bukhansan using one of his sticks. Karma.
