I'm terrified of the plot and script (T_T) it feels like this won't be as amazing of a drama as it should be with the main pairing. I'm really hoping for the writer to surprise is with amazing characters an a not so cliche plot. DramaGods work some amazingness please!!!!!

I am confused. Does it means that PSH will fall in love with JYH in the drama not not LMH? So the female lead for LMH is not found yet?

I am not sure whether they suit high school setting. University setting will be more suitable.

At first IK was thrilled at the news of Kim Eun Sook working with Lee Min Ho. She's great at writing charming jerks male character, he can play it like nobody's business. When I heard of PSH joining the team I was kind of meh - she doesn't impress me. I don't care for cutesy actresses staring with their huge eyes and being oh so innocent. But I thought, I would accept it, for other things that a KES drama might bring (long live FF-button!). I was just as unmoved with JYH (same reasons as PSH - sweet but bland).

However, putting the whole company into a high school is ridiculous. LMH is old enough to be a teacher! (That would make one risque drama when the female population of a school - students an teachers alike - wanted to throw themselves at the handsome teach, who in turn would have his eyes on a colleague or something, which again would make the said female population pester the lucky colleague). As a compromise I think a college setting would be OK.

I am a little worried what the outcome will be. I hope it won't be an absolute insult of logic and common sense.

Well I loooove this couple!! jung yong hwa and park shin hye but as you said if it means he's not the main male lead which is taken by lee min ho it annoys me .. Just hope park shin hye chooses jung yong hwa .. Cuz if else it will just be you're beautiful all over agaain! Which is boring!

I'm actually excited about this, I can see the potential of it being fluffy but entertaining drama.

Dumb. The cast seems way too old for high school. College seems more age appropriate. I really can't believe LMH signed up for this. Seems like a step back. More like a leap actually.

for me I think I will feel the same way when he played the role shin woo in he's beautiful in this new drama , I pity him. But I'm sure it'll turn out to be a great drama,because Yong hwa's acting is superb.. I can't wait for this drama

As much as I love their friendship, I seriously hope he's not her love interest. He's been there and done that twice. Wasn't the biggest fan of AGD, but Kim Eun-sook managed to have four separate love lines going on for the F40 crew. I really hope Yonghwa is just one of Lee Minho's BFFs and he gets paired up with another girl. Truly anticipated a reunion of Yonghwa and PSH in Heartstrings, especially since Shinwoo didn't get the girl, but I think another reunion so soon would be boring. They new a good several years to go by before they play a romantic pair again.

Oh,my...cant yonghwa be casted in such a drama like his bandmate jonghyun or minhyuk??he can learn from many senior actors and get different image,i love him as musician but as an actor i think he need to expand his horizon coz he has lots of potential..i'm not saying that psh and lee minho are not great ones but with yonghwa in it the heartstrings and yab image and feel are haunting and im afraid this drama is another mix, in between or another version of both eventho maybe yonghwa will end up with another actress.actually im very excited in the beginning about lmh and psh pairing..but now..sigh..psh done good job as godokmi,i like that drama..such a fresh athmosphere from her previous dramas always with yonghwa in it.

well, rumour has it (ok k-netizens believe it to be so) that these two are dating so maybe everyone wants them to just get married already? idk how this is even relevant hahaha. I didn't really enjoy them together in their previous two dramas though... third time's a charm?

ThThr What the...? This is the shocking news ever. Never could have thought he picked Heirs instead of the baseball drama something... He said he loves baseball and want to be in a sport kind of drama. So is he gonna be a sport star in Heirs?
I cannot believe Shinhye and Yonghwa in same drama again. It kind of like destiny that they always meet.
I'm a big fan of them, especially Shinhye since Stairway to Heaven. And thru Heartstring I like the Dooley. But now Yonghwa is casted I feel more worry than happy. If the drama flopped will they bear all the negativity? Yonghwa is taking a big risk here.
I'm confident Shinhye will sure have chemistry with Minho. They worked together in CF before and they were comfortable with each other. The only thing I'm hoping is for the writer to give Shinhye something new so she can learn and challenge herself.
Yonghwa is a man who like to make history:
First one to give flowers to his best girlfriend at Baeksaeng.
First band to sing live on Music Show and now he's here with Shinhye third time.

When I learned about this upcoming drama Heirs, some deets of what it's gonna be about plus the writer is Kim Eun Sook, okay it got me excited cause I trust that writer plot-wise. But then, the casting happened. First is Lee Min Ho, I already thought he's already done with this 'rich high school student' role after BOF. He did well in City Hunter where he showed the 'action' side of him, now he's going back to square one. WTF NO. Second is Park Shin Hye, she has a great potential to become one of the top actresses in Korea so I thought she's already moving forward but looks like she's going on a u-turn. UH OH. Third is Jung Yong Hwa, he's an actor-dol so you how general public reacts to his acting. He's a very talented guy though musically. Not sure of what's going to be his role but I don't wanna suffer seeing him again as the second male lead and with PSH for the third freaking time. SERIOUSLY. He is not going to improve if he's stuck at these things. Now, I see this drama as a Boys Over Flowers meets You're Beautiful drama. TOO BAD. If you're going to ask me, I want a RE-CASTING, new or rookie actors/actresses fit more in this kind of drama which could be the break that they're waiting. Just take LMH (in BOF) and JYH (in YAB) as perfect examples.

it seems Yonghwa can't let go of Shin Hye, hahaha! even agreeing to be a second lead again after being the main actor in Heartstrings! and wow, this is the first time i see korean stars being paired not just twice but for the third time eventhough they are being link together now in real life!

it is so rare in kdramas that we get to see the actors together again.....and I'm so happy that they are actually working together for the third time.....great news!!

I'm starting to think the writer must be a CNBlue fan, I think I read somewhere that she had Younghwa's bandmate, Lee Jonghyun in mind for his role in A Gentleman's Dignity. However I have no problem with this casting news, but then I didn't watch Younghwa and Park Sin Hye's previous dramas together. I'll watch as long as it doesn't turn into something like BOF.

Is it bad that I love this drama even more? I have all my favorite actors in it! ^___^ I can't wait til this drama comes out!!

Oh my goodness girlfriday, you read my mind!!! I really dislike making my opinions on public forums like Soompi public because kids on that site are so narrow minded and unwilling to accept other people's negative sentiments or opinions on the matter. They just bash comments before looking at the context on a subjective matter. In any case, of all the Korean drama blogs, I love drama beans the most just because I can publicly state my personal opinions and not get chewed out for it. Furthermore, this blog's taste in dramas coincide more with my taste than others, so I appreciate you for recapping the stuff I'm interested. Although that may be biased, I've witnessed other bloggers bashing dramas that they have watched one or none of the episodes... And I find that incredibly unfair to the drama, actors and crew. But hey, it's their blog... Their opinions whatever. Goodness, now I'm off topic. If I could love this post, I would!!! Thanks!!!!
