Kim Woo-bin and Lee Hyun-woo courted for heist movie

I’m totally taking this maybe-casting with a huge grain of salt, but it’d be great if it worked out. Kim Woo-bin (Heirs) and Lee Hyun-woo (Coverty, Grandly) are currently being courted to star in a new heist movie called The Professionals by Trinity Entertainment, aka the producers behind Kim Woo-bin’s current hit gangster sequel Friend 2. The project is still really early in the development stage, but it makes sense that they’d want to capitalize on Friend 2’s box office success with early press announcements (It opened in first place and surpassed 1.3 million tickets in its opening weekend).
The new movie comes from director Kim Hong-sun of The Traffickers, the organ-harvesting thriller starring Daniel Choi. The new movie is described as a far less goosebump-inducing story, and is a straight caper film that calls upon The Italian Job and The Big Swindle as references. It was originally called Checkmate but decided on The Professionals for a title; I don’t know if it’s a greener-grass thing, but I always prefer the titles people don’t use.
In any case I hope this means that Kim Woo-bin pulls in a good performance in Friend 2 since I haven’t seen it yet. Lee Hyun-woo is fantastic and broke my heart in Covertly, Grandly, and he should just be in more stuff all the time. I love a good heist movie so if they sign on I’ll be all over this. They’d be great as a pair of cheeky crooks, and I hope for their sakes there’s a slightly smaller ensemble than in Thieves. And more thievin’ while we’re at it.
The Professionals is casting now and plans to start shooting early next year.

ALL. OVER. THIS. Love heist films! And I love that they're looking to make a heist film with younger actors, this time 'round. Lee Hyunwoo... GUH! So good in "Covertly, Grandly". I know I'm in the minority, but Kim Woobin will have to prove himself to me all over again after "Heirs" happened. Looking forward to it.

Yes! I was sobbing at the end of Covertly, Grandly. I have to admit that I'm still a tiny bit confused of the ending. But Lee Hyunwoo was AMAZING!! To me, he will always be a cutiepie from TtBY. And I agree with Kim Woobin. I was amazed at his acting skills in School'13, but I'm a bit disappointed about Heirs. I even stopped watching because I didn't want my image of KWb completely destroyed. But I still want to watch this movie so bad!!

All it took was casually watching one random episode of Heirs to suddenly make me fangirl like crazy over Kim Woo-bin. Now I started School 2013 just for him and it drives me nuts only seeing a few minutes of him so far. This guy is super hot and sexily charismatic. In short, I totally approve of him signing on as many projects as possible so I can consume all his works.

1 bully we learned to like when we could pull ourselves away from the best bromance ever
1 REALLY stupid and hilariously funny brother in the most disappointing drama ever
1/2 of the hottest secondary couple you could imagine in the loudest 'rom-com' you could imagine
Not to mention the characters themselves. Mad Mi Reu forever!

Though I will qualify, I'll take a movie if he gets to get the girl in the end - he's never so much as got to kiss a girl for real onscreen, and only got a girl at all once (Vampire Idol).
I'd be especially thrilled if someone had the genius idea of re-pairing him up with Lee Yubi, she's a gem and was lovely with him.

yeah, and we all know how the girl in WC turned out, hence the need for 'for real', OTP-type kissing with hopefully some reciprocal lip movement, or at least not slugging him, ha ;)
And I want all those things for Woobie too! Only I don't know if I want to condemn him to a schedule like his buddy Lee Jong-seok, between 2 dramas and 3 movies that poor boy appears to only be getting a chance to sleep in 2013 once No Breathing promo winds down.

I watched Covertly, Grandly (not sure if i got the title right but it's with kim soohyun and lee hyunwoo) on youtube and The Jackal is Coming (with JYJ's Jaejoong and Song Jihyo) on gooddrama.net
definitely recommend both if you want some eyecandy and Mong "Ace" Jihyo is amazing in it^^

Well, I like heist movies. And I like Lee Hyun Woo. I've only seen him on Running Man but he was very cute and endearing like someone's goofy kid brother. I just hope Kim WooBin gets a chance to rest. It feels like he's just going from project to project. It's good to be desired but nobody wants to see him burn himself out which k-celebrities have an unfortunate tendency to do.

I think KWB will take that offer. He´s probably super thankful to producers for a chance to appear in Friend 2 that turned out to be a hit.
BTW my friend saw F2 and she said KWB looked great but it was obvious next to all those veteran actors he´s still green, but he got charisma and tried really hard. She´s a fan of his but she actually said that at some scenes he looked more like modeling than acting :-)) and she had a problem to feel his emotions.

I know I'm going to get chewed up for this but I'm not all that into kim woo bin I've not quite gotten what the whole woobie hype is all about.I've seen him in school 2013 and heirs and not really feeling each xter(I prefer the young do xter tho) I spent half the time yelling at him and Lee Jong Suk to make up already and I'm too distracted by his face in heirs(the make up makes him look like a white faced alien)
But I absolutely love lee Hyun Woo one glance at him in ttby and I fell in love with him completely,his xter reminded me of jeremy(YAB) and made me like the jeremy xter more
So if I were to watch this drama it would be because of lee hyun woo
