Ji Jin-hee may return to Chungmuro with Summer Snow

Ji Jin-hee (Warm Words, The Great Seer) is considering taking one of the leads in the omnibus film, Summer Snow. The anthology movie will include three episodes, and His Chiseledness would star in one of the installments as a cop avenging his daughter.

Sources say that Ji Jin-hee met with director Jeon Yoon-soo (Portrait of a Beauty, Le Grand Chef) and is leaning towards accepting. While the actor has appeared on the big screen in supporting roles over the past few years, this would be his first leading Chungmuro role since Parallel Life.

Kim Sung-kyun (Answer Me 1994) and Sung Yuri (Birth Secret, Feast of the Gods) are slated to appear as a manager and actress in another chapter, and the third section will revolve around a famous boxer, his rival, and the price they’ve paid for fame. I’m normally not a huge fan of omnibus films (often the stories seem underdeveloped and thrown together), but I’m curious as to what the common thread for these three varying plots could be.

Production is still casting the remaining leads and filming is expected to start in the latter half of the year.

Ohhh this looks interesting! I liked Jin Hee in "Warm Words", even if I didn't like his character.

Any news on Im Joo Eun? I thought she'd land a leading role in a drama, after "Heirs" and "Empress Ki".

Did she do a good job on "Empress Ki"? I know she has talent, but she was wasted in Heirs.

She was good in the very few scenes she had. But once again her talent was wasted in a nonsensical drama.

I think she'd be a great choice for Nodame in the Korean remake. Plus, she's only one year younger than Joo Won.

So, when is MBC going to put up a rumor that he's signed the contract for Dae Jang Geum and then he does an interview saying he had no clue that he did.,,,?

I think MBC has no interest in him. They want to kill off Sir Min. :(

Yeah, it means film. CMIIW but if I'm not mistaken chungmuro is actually a place where Kmovies first created. Korean equivalent of Hollywood.

I'll be ,looking forward to seeing Kim Sung-kyun back on screen!

Maybe he's not the star this time, but am anticipating how he plays a totally different character. Besides, I think he's got that likeable quality whatever he does, kinda like Oh Jung Se who's now in A New Leaf!

Simply puzzling why JJH hasn't gotten more lead roles in film - he's the complete package (leading man looks and acting ability).
