Any Beanies out there planning to go to KCON in Los Angeles this weekend? If you are, we’d love to see you at either or both of the panels we’ll be speaking at!
This year, we’ve got a panel on each day, and they are, conveniently, both in the same location (Panel Tent #1) and at the same time (2:30 PM).

This panel is hosted by Viki, and will feature Sean Richard (Athena, Jejoongwon), who was also on the panel last year.

This panel is all Dramabeans, and we’re really looking forward to it! Gummimochi and HeadsNo2 will be moderating, and Girlfriday and I will talk about a whole bunch of topics, such as drama genres and trends, character archetypes, idol actors and variety stars, viewership ratings, the cable boom, common drama tropes and more. I’m pretty sure lots more.

I'll be there! Im so excited! Its my first time at kcon, my only concenrn is the entrance. But since you panel is at 2:30 pm im sure im going to be in by then.
I decided to come to kcon because of you guys! Looking at the program, there's going to be many interesting things, but your panels are the highlights for me :D.

Or could KCon give a copyright waiver so someone could capture a video and put it on YouTube?
Even better, lets hope that KCon hosts the video and provides a comment section for each of the various topics. Don't know why they wouldn't.
For brand building, it'd drive traffic to the KCon site; build interest in attending next year's event by giving compelling freebies to people who didn't attend; build brand affinity because we're gonna' love whoever gives love to Dramabeans; and generate audience/topical interest data that'd be useful for planning future events.
Ok, that sounds like begging...mostly because it actually is. :-)

The MNet America site has something called KCON Experience 2014 that they say will cover everything that happens at KCON. Well, this is exactly what it says:

I'm wicked pumped to be able to come this year! Woohoo! I moved to Los Angeles last year literally the day AFTER K-Con and was heartbroken that I couldn't attend.
Also - is anyone interested in getting together before/after the panel for food and drinks or whatnot with fellow members of the Beanut Gallery? Just thought I'd throw that out there...
