Na PD brings back another season of Youths Over Flowers

PD Na Young-seok has announced that his next series for tvN will be a new installment of Youths Over Flowers, the travel backpacking variety show spinoff of Grandpas Over Flowers that aired its first season in 2014. The series is being planned for the post-Three Meals a Day: Fishing Village slot on Friday nights this winter, which may as well just be renamed The Na PD Hour.
The first season of Youths Over Flowers was really two shows in one. The first trip took a trio of 40-something musicians and longtime friends — Yoo Hee-yeol, Yoon Sang, and Lee Juck — on an adventurous trip to Peru; while the second half of the season featured a trio of 20-something actors from the cast of Answer Me 1994 — Yoo Yeon-seok, Sohn Ho-joon, and Baro — on a carefree (and nearly penniless) romp in Laos.
The third trip will feature a group of 30-somethings this time, so of course the big question is who will get cast. Part of me is sad that it won’t be another season with the original boys, because I really loved both trips and especially the friendships among them.
The camaraderie is really what gave this show its particular flavor (okay, also the very very tiny traveling budget that you could never get away with on a Grandpas or Noonas trip), so I hope they find another group of friends who’ve known each other for a long time. Ooh, wasn’t Lee Sang-yoon just talking about how close he is with Lee Sang-woo and Song Chang-eui? Or wait, aren’t Yoo Yeon-seok and Sohn Ho-joon in their 30s now? They count!
Youths Over Flowers is planning to premiere sometime in December or January.

More fun in store! My only gripe is that I have a hard time finding sites to watch Na PD's shows. Anyone can suggest where I can watch the current season of Three Meals a Day: Fishing Village?

I gave this 5 stars before I finished reading it. YYY&SHJ&BARO were so cute together, I was ready for another series with them.
Seeing Lee Sang-yoon's name thrown here and there makes me hopeful.

Don't watch it if you don't like it. I thought it was an interesting concept and a fun and cute show. I liked Grandpas, Youths, and 40 something youths. I enjoyed seeing the world. I'd watch another one. (And yes, a 20 again revival would be fun.)

I want another season of ChilHaiBing having fun backpacking in another country becauce they are the cutest together (and I remember how eager Baro was last time wanting to go for another trip and even offered to pay for the flights tickets, lol). But given how they stated that this time it's gonna be youth in their 30s, chances for ChilHaiBing to be back is very slim since Baro is out of the age bracket, plus Hojun's and YYS's schedules are packed starting from November. Whyyy.
(But just a few days ago Na PD, Writer Kim Dae Joo and others went to YYS's loungebar 'LUA'. But that probably meant nothing with regards to the new season of YOF. They could just be visiting his new business place, that's all.)
Sigh. I miss ChilHaiBing so much.

I didn't know that they had youth's over flowers too.
Once I read this article, I immediately searched for the 1994 crew eps and marathoned it....(putting my marathoning drama skills to variety)
It was awesome.
Makes me want to go to Laos.

It would be nice if the trio of Lee Sang Yoon， Song and Lee gets this. W’ll see a veery different side to them. The con - they seem all introverted for such a show especially Lee Sang Woo and I’m doubting it will get subbed :(

It's like impossible but I still think it would be great to see Sojisub, Song Seung Hun, and JunHa going to a trip together. Some might see them boring but I found in interesting to see the boring Jisub to be nagging by JunHa, and SeungHun who would just keep cool for anything.
