Running Man: Episode 272

Guests, guests, and guests, oh my! This week brings the second half of the greatest number of people on Running Man yet. Amidst the numerous introductions, there are gems to be had, jokes to be swapped, and a fervor that is unmatched. We find out just how many friends our cast can call upon and how many those friends can bring in some other willing yet unsuspecting stars. So sirs and madams: You get a nametag! YOU get a nametag! Everybody gets a nametag!

EPISODE 272. Broadcast on November 8, 2015.

Following a four-minute recap of Part 1 (and a minute preview of today’s episode), we jump into the second half of the 100 vs. 100 battle. Just as the cast rounds up their forty-nine guests, telling them to remember their seats, the next group of guests arrive.

I love how the male comedians straighten up at veteran comedienne Lee Sung-mi, whom Jae-suk scolds Haha for calling. She, of course, had no idea the guest list would be this long, and points out that renowned boxer champion Chang Jung-koo is in fact, younger than her.

Sitting next to her is comedienne Kim Sook, and then Wang Bae totally gets caught for talking to UEE. He swears he was just inviting her to come by his restaurant, and is told that there are plenty of people here trying to promote their eateries.

We saw comedienne Park Na-rae not too long ago—she bought a pair of shorts just for today’s appearance and puts them on right then and there. Never mind that there are at least sixty people around her.

Suk-jin has called in comedian Byun Seung-yoon whose fake Chinese accent has Hong Kong native GOT7’s Jackson retort: “Don’t force it if you don’t know it.” The pseudo mumblings could fool anyone, but the exchange between the counterfeit and the real thing brings a lot of laughs.

Rapper Zizo is Haha’s guest, whose freestyle raps steps up to impress. Byun Seung-yoon is invited to fake a rap, and somewhere in the mutterings, Jackson identifies an expletive phrase.

Businessman Kim Chang-geun was also invited by Haha, with whom he shares a hobby in biking. Actor Kim Min-kyo was called in by Suk-jin, and the GOT7 boys are finally introduced by Jong-kook. Whoa, he invited the entire group?

Jackson and Mark get up to perform the push and shove somersault acrobatic move that makes my jaw drop every time. The Lee twins have a move of their own, followed by a physical gag. Hahaha.

This quickly turns into an impromptu b-boying battle between the GOT7 boys versus the Lee twins, and the latter puts a swift end to it with a kick. Then it’s time for the 40 vs. 40 battle: paper curling.

The teams will literally unfurl a roll of paper, and the team with the most amount of people whose rolls fall under the “safe zone” will win. Best two out of three wins it. After the first roll, both team have one successful roll, and then Kwang-soo points out that Chang Jung-koo is manipulating his roll. Hehe.

Still the Running Man Team wins the first round and the second. Another group of guests arrive, including one mysterious guest who refuses to leave his bicycle behind. Doth my eyes deceive me? Is that ballad singer Tim?

More importantly, g.o.d’s Park Joon-hyung has arrived not long after filming Laws of the Jungle. Bboy Ducky, singer Wax, actress Ryu Hyun-kyung are here as well. And ha—our mysterious bicycle man is none other than DJ DOC’s Lee Haneul.

B-boy world champion Ducky engages in a battle against GOT7’s JB, and Joonie hyung is joining this episode less than a day than coming back from the jungle. He and Haneul engage in a separate dance battle, and then we move on to Tim, who was on his way to the gym.

Asked to sing an oldie love song of his (“I Love You”), Tim sings on command, slippers and all. Wax is asked to sing “Fixing My Makeup” and actor Hyun Woo says hello. Total guest count: 63.

Time for a 60 vs. 60 battle, and the Running Man Team’s guest part like the Red Sea. This time it’s dodgeball, and UEE shares that she doesn’t want to leave now. The Heroes lose a member not long after the whistle blows, but then one of them get possession of the ball.

Ma Ah-sung and KingKong are eliminated in a double-play, and the eliminations keep coming. It’s 49 to 45 in favor of the Heroes, and whereas Yoon Park catches the ball, it also flies into Min-kyo’s face and out of his hands. My, what a difference.

Checking back in the numbers are 43 to 40 in favor of the Running Man Team, and Master Jung brings down a number. UEE gets hit with the ball which Joo-hwan saves to attack the other team. That same ball is tossed outside so that it stays within the Running Man Team’s hands.

The PD calls a time-out and Min-kyo asks who hit UEE… only to bow out when he hears that the man’s a taekwondo athlete. The court is taken in a bit, and the Running Man Team leads by three people.

More eliminations follow, and the Running Man Team is trailing by three. Joo-yeob catches the ball and intimidates his former attacker with it, only to be eliminated soon afterward.

Now only three Heroes remain to face the nine Running Man Team members, but then one of the Heroes is tagged out thanks to Joo-yeob. Another one bites the dust and now there’s only one Hero left to stand his ground.

The lone Hero keeps evading attack as best he can, but in the end, he gets tagged out. Another win means 10 less Heroes to eliminate later, bringing the total count down to 80 Heroes.

The speakers announce a special performance tonight: rookie girl group, GFriend. Hahaha, I love how all the cameramen immediately run over. Haha records a video of Joo-yeob’s jaw-drop expression while watching the performance.

Haneul slides over his phone following the performance which gets quickly returned to him. Unfortunately, UEE has to get going too, and is immediately put up to a farewell performance. Her presence is quickly filled by the next group, including Jinusean’s Jinu, Muzie, and singer Roy Kim.

ZE:A’s Kwanghee shows up too, only to be upset that UEE has left already. Suk-jin called over Muzie, who dragged Roy Kim along with him. Suk-jin and Roy have never met before.

Announcer Moon Ji-ae is a part of this group, and says she worked with Suk-jin before but he never called until today. Poor Hyung-joon has been waiting for over seven hours now.

Singer Hwang Chi-yeol was filming Laws of the Jungle with Joon-hyung. Kwanghee just came over from filming a different show, and when he gets upset about not being a special star today, the Running Man cast tells him about alll of the special stars who have been waiting for hours now.

He looks to his fellow Infinite Challeng members for support, but neither Jae-suk nor Haha will give it. Haha: “No one’s going to take care of you here.” Jae-suk: “Not on Sundays.”

Turns out rookie idol group SEVENTEEN was called in by UEE, which is a nice trade if you ask me. Hoshi also hails from Kwang-soo’s hometown, which aww. Jae-suk is proud of his voice actor friend Sa Sung-woo who turns on a Power Ranger impression.

Rapper Digili tries avoiding the question about what he’s been up to these days before admitting that it’s been a while since he’s promoted anything. Actress Kim Ji-ahn and actors Jo Yoon-woo and Jung Dong-hyun are here. N.Flying was called in by Suk-jin, and Jae-hyun is noted to be the younger brother to Rainbow’s Jae-kyung.

The idols’ jaws drop at hearing their opponents described as “a hundred Jong-kooks”, and the count brings them to 92 present.

Our final mission is at hand with 80 Heroes vs. 92 Running Man Team members. Best out of three wins it all, but each team can choose how many to send out per round. Each team break to strategize and go over nametag ripping tactics.

For the first round, the Heroes send out 25 versus 30 for the Running Man Team. The young’uns move as a group for an aggressive attack to take down their opponents one by one.

They look like an unstoppable swarm, and elsewhere Kwang-kyu takes someone out before getting eliminated himself. Kwang-soo is soon out of the running too, and then the Heroes gain momentum.

Hyung-joon takes one down before getting eliminated himself, and Chang Jung-koo goes in for an unsuccessful takedown. Lee Sung-mi waits for the opportune moment to sneak up on the Heroes, but she too is eliminated.

The numbers dwindle down to 14 to 8 in favor of the Heroes, and a few more rips later, only Ji-hyo, Won-hyo, and Sung-woong remain for the Running Man Team. But try as that trio might, they too are eliminated.

The Running Man Team send out the best they’ve got for Round 2, and the Heroes send out their next crop to a 34 vs. 24 match. Jong-kook suggests doing a 1:1 match and pro wrestler Kim Min-ho steps up.

Jong-kook dances around, waiting, until he grabs hold of Min-ho’s back and nametag to rip it off in one fluid motion. Hey he ain’t called Spartakooks for nuthin’.

A 2:2 battle follows, but then Geun-shik loses his opportunity to attack. Finding himself outnumbered, Jong-kook tries going in for the attack. But he ends up getting eliminated, and now the Running Man Team has lost their ace.

But the Running Man Team still has more members, and then decide to chase the Heroes. Chaos quickly follows and the Heroes try to stick together. Several smaller groups take down multiple targets but the Running Man team ties up the score.

It all comes down to Round 3, and the Heroes wrap themselves around the Running Man Team. The tactic decimates their numbers, and eventually only SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan remains.

He faces Lee Won-hee, who speedily grabs his back and reaches for his nametag. But Seungkwan slips out and does his best to hang in there until Won-hee rips off his nametag and winning it for the Heroes.

Jae-suk thanks our athletes and stars for taking the time out to participate today, and we see pictures being taken and souvenirs handed out for a most memorable experience for all.

This episode is a favorite. Got7 does not disappoint. I was dying at Byun Seung Yoon and Jackson's "Chinese" conversation (even though Jackson was speaking Cantonese), Go Young Jun's "Do you validate parking?", and Lee Ha Neul's "Mom, that's enough, come back!" The battles were epic. I could not stop fangirling during Markson vs. Lee Sang Min and Lee Sang Ho's tumbling battle, then could not stop laughing during Park Joon Hyung vs. Lee Ha Neul's "b-boy" battle. Makes me think if they had started this talent show earlier, the early-bird guests wouldn't have been falling asleep. I know Ma Ah Sung sang and Super Bee rapped last week, but starting from Park Na Rae's "krumping," this turned into a straight-up party, or as Lee Sung Mi put it, her 60th birthday party. Tim and Wax singing their old hits felt very nostalgic.

I loved everyone's excitement during GFriend's performance. I was singing along the whole time. I wished they had shown their Glass Bead high kick. I was thrilled SeungKwan was the last man standing. I was afraid Seventeen would not have enough screen time since they were the last batch of guests to arrive, but SeungKwan proved the key to staying alive is by running away. I laughed every time someone complained about there being too many guests. I wish KwangHee came earlier; I never get tired of his brutal honesty. I knew Haha would recruit the most friends. New X-Man revealed Haha had the most cell phone contacts. Dodgeball is the perfect game for large numbers, but the nametag ripping seemed like mass chaos. Obviously, the Heroes would win. I adore how Jae Suk took the time out to memorize everyone's names. Nation's MC forever!

Everything you just said, loved these last two episodes, oh the one thing you didn't mention that i loved was during the name tag chase, there was a guy who tumbled and rolled away so awesomely, i repeated it atleast 10 times, so cool.
You're right best MC
Yoo jae suk is really talented, i kept wondering if anyone else would be able to pull it off as smoothly as he did.
The only downer for me, was watching the ajjushi's old enough to be their dads and maybe harabujis during G-friends performance, kinda creepy but my mind might have been in overdrive.
Great show,so hilarious hope they keep the pace.

WAS going to watch this, BUT after reading racist and inconsiderate remarks by the Koreans (below), plan to BOYCOTT "Running Man"... We Asians already have to put up with name calling and "chingchong" from the Americans, Blacks and Hispanics, we do NOT need people who look like us making fun of each other!!!! Shame on you Running Man and Koreans allowing to happen...

i loved the episode, but was i the only one disappointed that they didn't invite the Running Man family like Woo Bin, Yong Hwa, 2PM, or Shinhwa? it would've been so cool if they have invited those guests that made a lot of appearances in the show throughout their 5-year run!!! but i still love you Running Man!!!

It disappointed me a lot that no one seemed to remember calling JoongKi. Or maybe they did (who knew what went under the cut during editting), 'cause I kinda expected the members to do that. Being a former part of the family and all. But no one bothered to even mention him. During part 1 of the episode, when KwangSoo was calling InSung, they showed the clip of JoongKi, InSung, KiBang and JooHwan's surprise visit. That got me so excited because have all the chance to make JoongKi come over and make him rip tags once again for after almost 4(?) years. Kibang and JooHwan came (JooHwan's fresh face was heart melting btw. SQUEEL.) But! where! is! my! JoongKi!?

I'm forever waiting for his another guesting. Sigh.

Thank you gummimochi for your recap ?
This episode as good as last week episode. The nametag ripping game totally intense and I wasn't dissapointed the heroes team won since they had limited screen time.
I loved how Kwangsoo took care of UEE. He's such a gentleman and sweet person. It might be a reason why UEE suddenly feel like didn't want to go. Did anyone notice when Kwangsoo suddenly run to protect UEE when she hit the ball before the ball saved by Joohwan?

I guess I must've been the only person who found the comedian's exchange with Jackson both offputting and rude. Jackson was obviously uncomfortable and the least he could've done was backed off instead of continuously pushing.

It made me uncomfortable too. Making fun of Chinese accents, especially when you're right next to Chinese people? It's rude. And the joke is old and unoriginal anyway.

Well, I personally don't mind when people do that~ It's really sweet when people try to learn your language? And I saw Jackson as resigned but kinda going with it cos he was like eh its for humor.

Also (correct me if I'm wrong), but imitating accents and satoori? is a big part of korean comedic culture? So to them, it might not be such a big thing.

But the thing is, the comedian is not trying to learn the language. He didn't even seem to register that Jackson looked uncomfortable with the joke.

Byun Seung Yoon was learning the language. That was part of his introduction: "Who invited you?" (Suk Jin), "How did you meet?" (Chinese school). Besides Byun Seung Yoon, Suk Jin and Heo Tae Hee were enrolled in Chinese school, too.

0

Yeah but it's one thing to imitate accents and then have the person laugh it off than imitate the accent and then continue even though the person both pushed back and looked very uncomfortable throughout the exchange (amidst mocking that the actual person sounded less authentic that the mimicker).

Also: That wasn't 'learning my language', that was 'butchering it in a cheap attempt at humor'.

I speak cantonese and I thought it was quite funny because it actually sounded quite like it! the tones and everything, just in gibberish~ I guess because he was learning it, he was trying to grasp at words but not quite making them out...! Also really surprised when Jackson spoke canto, when they said chinese I was fully expecting mandarin - nice to hear some canto on other channels once in a while!!

Have you watched the Christmas episode of Roommate where Jackson's parents surprise him? That was all in Cantonese. If you do watch it, prepare a box of tissues because you will need it. ?

0

Don't think Byun Seung-yoon was making fun of the accent or that the others were laughing about that (plus, one really only has an accent when speaking another language).

Both BSY and the others knew that he was saying was totally jibberish (not that they could tell), but it was funny b/c he got the tonality/sound down pat so to them - it sounded like he knew Cantonese.

Required fields are marked *

I see where you're coming from, but Jackson was only acting uncomfortable. He does that all the time. Jackson is very perceptive and knows exactly what to do to play along. Besides, they teach Mandarin in Chinese school, yet Jackson was speaking Cantonese for the whole exchange, so clearly, he knew they were not trying to hold a real Chinese conversation. I agree it's politically incorrect, but it wasn't done maliciously. Moreover, Mark, who is Taiwanese, laughed and didn't find it offensive.

You have every right to be offended; I just don't think Jackson was offended. Like I said, it is certainly politically incorrect. I don't keep up with Chinese netizens, so what were their reactions to this episode? On the other hand, I loved Korean netizens' reactions to this episode: "GOT7 members are such eye candies," "Boo Seungkwan was funny as hell," "GOT7 and Seventeen are full of variety charms."

I could be completely wrong, and Jackson and Mark could have been thoroughly offended by his imitation. I've experienced racism ("ching chong"), but to me, this was nothing like that?

Required fields are marked *

I guess I'm two months late to this comment thread so no one's talking about this anymore, but it actually made me so uncomfortable watching the comedian mock the Chinese language, and it kind of bothered me that everyone else found it funny. I know Korean comedians do it all the time, with both Chinese and Japanese, on Gag Concert or whatever, so I don't know if Mark and Jackson actually cared, but the comedian might as well have been saying ching-chong... I mean him speaking gibberish to imitate Cantonese, because that's how Cantonese sounds to him... Isn't that the same logic that English-speakers use to justify saying ching-chong?

I'm actually rather disappointed because I've seen Runningman members who have demonstrated a genuine attempt to learn the language - look at Yoo Jaesuk singing "A Better Tomorrow" and Ji Sukjin singing Eason Chan's song at one of their concerts. Now THAT'S learning the language. Maybe the comedian had no intention of being racist, but the way he mocked Cantonese (his tone, his facial expressions) definitely felt like a slight on Chinese people.

0

I also was uncomfortable with that guy mocking the language

0
reply

Required fields are marked *

he wasn't MOCKING the chinese language. He was making words up and faking that he knew the language; only to get caught red-handed by someone. That was the whole point of the joke.

Jackson knows what's going on, just look at his reaction when the whole skit is over.

Jokingly saying non-correct words in any language isn't mocking it.

It's actually a somewhat rare skill. Some people are able to identify phonemes common to a particular language, and use them to babble in that language (speak gibberish which sounds like that language to a non-speaker). Peter Ustinov was a master of it.

The t. paper bit was funny -

No tug of war?

I could have done with out the girl group singing...

Found the dodge ball confusing because I couldn't see the ball. It would have helped if the editors circle it like they did with the tp.

It would have been so funny if In-sung came right when filming finished! hah

The final name tag game was great. I am surprised no one got hurt - I bet there were some bruises - there was some serious efforts there.

Gummimochi, thanks for the recap~ <3

These 100 vs 100 episodes are so much fun to watch! My initial thought when they announced there will be 100 guests, I was like "ehhhh~" because I'm worried about the screentime for each guest but Yoo Jae Suk is really good in hosting and paying attention to each of them and checking the early guests still involved while making the later guests blend in together, as expected, the national MC! But it also because all the guests are awesome and giving cooperation.

The early 60th birthday is my favourite part and can I just say that Jackson is a total bae, his variety skill is really good, plus his cheerful personality and social skill, (gotta love that his group members (Got7) keep cheering for him)~ He can just stop after showing the 1st move (with Mark) which leads to a sudden battle with Lee twins, lol, but then he hypes up the crowd with more actions.

Love love all the guests and their talents. I think what makes the guests loveable is how they give encouragement/support all the time, Lee Sung Mi's sassiness is hilarious, and Lee Kwang Soo is really sweet, protecting UEE all the time.

Love all the sports scenes. Although it seems a lil' bit silly (t.paper curling?) but it's lovely that even the simple sports event can be this exciting, all the guests were enjoying it, it's like a sports day at school, where everyone is participating and having fun. All in all, great episode!

I was a bit miffed at the show of sportsmanship, or rather , the LACK of it from the professional athletes, especially the judo and wrestling guys.

They cornered Ji-hyo 3 men as big as a house against one woman, even when she was already on the floor and almost for 30 secs, none of them thought to help her up untill one finally returned. I saw Kang Gary's face at that moment, he was not happy, and neither was i.

Our ace can do many things but take out 3 pro's? our favorite UFC fighter (sarang's appa) at least gave her the honor of going one on one with one arm against his back and she gave him hell.No consideration here what so ever.

Kim jong Kook on his 2 vs 2 , the other guy attacked him in the back !! he should have let his friend handle it alone and then maybe go against cookie if he won this match too.

Then that poor guy who was left alone doing a 1 on 1 and who do these "heroes" pick? A gold medalist in JUDO ! friggin judo gold medalist against an idol who weighs probably les than my Friend M 's make up bag.

Nope, i love the running man family and their friends but as for these athletes..i hope they lose every match they have from now one. (a plague on both your houses)

Ok rant over :) i just don't like seing my RM friends being abused like that :)

But at the same time, I don't think our Ace would have appreciated the Heroes going easy on her. I loved when Kim Won Hyo and Sa Sung Woong flanked around her in protection, Ji Hyo waved them off and said, "I'm okay." She has been nametag ripping for a long time and can take care of herself.

As for the 2:2, that was the benefit of winning your pair first -- you get the advantage of going 2:1. I think it would have looked cocky if he had stood there and waited for the other hero to finish Jong Kook off, as if saying, "He doesn't need my help. He can take Spartakooks all on his own."

I love SeungKwan, but he stood no chance, whether it be against gold medalist Lee Won Hee or the weakest member of the Heroes (is there one?). From the start, the final mission was too one-sided. I never expected Running Man to win. It would seem staged if 100 professional athletes lost against 100 untrained celebrities.

The early B-day talent so was fun.

Kind of a mini X-Man reunion w/ Park Joon-hyung and Tim (haven't seen him since X-Man); another guy who has bulked up due to the KJK effect. lol

Know that Kwanghee is popular in variety, but he just annoys me.

The RM team could have won the 1st battle as they had the #s edge from the start and had taking the initiative, but then lost discipline (should have kept in and attacked in groups) and let the athletes take the upperhand.

As for the 2nd match, the RM team probably overplayed their #s advantage.

Wished we had seen more of Kookie 1-on-1 match-ups; Kookie really should have tried to eliminate his guy quickly in the 2-on-2 match-up rather than waiting to see what would happen w/ the other 2.

Not having those additional 8 people (to get to 100) also hurt the RM team; having that 20 person edge from the start would have helped.

I'm surprised at how comfortable Jun Yup to Haha. Because they first meet in RM just several months ago. And I don't see Jun Yup as someone that can act silly easily at that time.
But when Ha Ha called Jun Yup he say, "wow! isn't this our lovely Mr. Haha". Then when Haha record him ogling over GFriend performance he also respond in kind.
Haha social skill must be really good. And to think that half the guest come because of him. Wow.

I love this ep , thanks a lot for a wonderful recap gummimochi just want to put in my 2 cents

I think the reason a lot of Ha Ha's friend show up cause he not the biggest man on earth and when he talk on the phone about 'a fight' and they heard the noise in the background lot of them concern for their friend so they rush over I just think that if Jong Kook say the same thing to his friend they would be like "it's ok you're Sparta you can take care of it I'm just gonna chillaxing today" lol

Uee is so cute she thought Kwang Soo call her over to buy coffee and she run over , my new ship just sail love them

And I don't follow Kpop and also don't know who GOT7 are but the blondie in that group was quite vocal ( in a good way ) and get his teammates some screen time so bravo for him , wonder if he the lead singer

All in all when I heard the idea at first I thought it gonna be a mess but thanks to our national MC it was smooth , exciting and extremely fun wish they do this again and next time learn from this lesson no guest allow to go to the bathroom unless they tie together and go as a group of 5 LOL

The blondie is Jackson, rapper and does martial arts tricking in the group. It was cute how he got his teammates screentime, though JB seemed flustered to go against a world champion bboy. I was surprised that he didn't show more complex moves because he is a really good bboy, but I'm glad they have humility and respect for seniors.

I though this was going to be huge disaster when it was first announced. I mean 100 guests?! But they really did a good job with it and it was tons of fun. Easily one of my favorite episodes lately.

The fact that Haha's friends came because they thought there was a fight is both hilarious and scary lol

Not a Kpop person, but those GOT7 are seriously good-looking, and their part was quite entertaining, they should invite them back. Also, one of them looks soooo familiar for some reason.

I love all running man members. But on the second round of the name tag elimination, though Jong Kook was ousted and kind of lowered the spirits, it was okay. Why? Because HAHA was there.

HAHA may be weak physically but he's really good in livening up the spirits of his team mates. His words really stir emotions of others may it be for teasing, bickering, jeering or cheering. I just want to shout out for HAHA and how his role is really important in team plays. :D Good job HAHA~!

Power Ji Hyo for being among the last to be ousted in the first group! :)

AND I LOVE THIS EPISODE SO MUCH. EVERYBODY'S SOOO CUTE AND FUN!

both episodes are a challenge to the viewers patience - there were some nice moments - by favorites had to do with UEE - who also managed to be really pretty this time (i don't always think of her as pretty)

i loved Woori's reaction to seeing another girl

the second episode had GFriends and their wonderful song "Me Gustas Tu" - and UEE's wonderful parting dance

the hip-hop Trot singer was funny too

the second episode finally had some action - the dodge ball and name tag ripping games (cleverly dividing up the teams into 3 rounds)

Cantonese is a Chinese dialect, as well as Taiwanese... There are more than 36 Chinese dialects. Mandarin is the only spoken national Chinese language, mainland China calls it Putonghua...

everything before the race was top notch! It was hilarious as hell! Much funnier stuff than last week.
The guests were funny and so were their antics, like the bboy dance off or the martial arts dance off. 10 out of 10 for funniness!

The name tag elimination game itself wasn't that exciting coz the editing wasn't that good. You never got any real feel of what was happening.
Kudos to the Heroes team for outsmarting the Running Man team completely in the 2nd round and keeping loads of people for the final round.

Running Man team should've given up the first round with their weakest team and then had more and better players in the 2nd and 3rd round.

I liked the "mini games" much better. I didn't think that team RM could win in dodgeball but they did very well. A shame that the editing was lackluster at the moment when they turned things around from being in deficit to going 9-3 up.

All in all this episode was really really good and these two episodes were great! A shame the running man team didn't win the final game.

also have to say, i was surprised at how easy woori to for interact with people. She was quite vocal on her own, reacting loud to a lot of stuff....and was often seen talking or hanging out with different people.

they should invite her as a solo guest some time coz she seems up for it.

This was one of the best episodes I think. I have to give kudos to the whole running man production team for taking a risk despite many possible repercussions. The whole 271-272 series was like a grand finale of a show, and it's beautiful. I really could expect a lot of new acquaintances and friendships through the day that this was filmed.
I was in Korea when this was broadcast and even though I could barely hold a conversation in Korean that time, I knew the gist of the whole situation, and I really was lucky to be in korea when the episode I consider the greatest was first broadcast.
Korean fans already knew that time the Running man team is already fighting a losing battle even only when the episodes were previewed, so maybe that was the reason why there was not much negative feedback from the fans, and just anticipating how they would fare against 100 athletes instead.
The celebrities, be it the rookies or the old top stars started not knowing each other and got to work hand in hand even though they barely knew each others' names, you could really tell the before and after interactions between them, it was beautiful.
I got to appreciate YOo Jae suk more when I watched this episode. There were a lot of guests and it really would be difficult for them not to be bored all throughout the waiting hours, but YJK did a great job keeping them entertained while introducing each guests' background.

Love the dodgeball and Name tag elimination. Would've been nice if Jo Insung came to support Lee Kwang Soo. It was sweet of UEE to invite other guests since she was leaving. Kudos to Yoo Jae Suk, that man is the National MC indeed.
