Name That Drama: Revenge with a side of revenge

1. Brides should hire bodyguards
   

   I’m pretty sure this is a recent drama. Please help me find it.

   It was the main girl’s wedding day, and during the ceremony, all her exes came up and wanted her to stop the wedding. It turns out that her ex-friend was the niece of the groom and didn’t want her to marry him, which is why she planned that scene. The main girl stopped the wedding, and outside, she met the male lead which she thought was the boyfriend of her ex-friend. She suddenly kissed him and went away with him for revenge on her ex-friend. I think they had a one-night stand afterward.

    

2. Everyone’s replaceable in dramaland
   

   I watched this drama quite a long time ago, and I’ve been searching for it for the longest time. I think it’s an early 2000s drama that had this blonde-haired girl as a superstar and her manager oppa (I think he was the hero.)

   She got into an accident during a car chase with the paparazzi and disappeared. Manager Oppa was desperate and found a doppelgänger who was a poor, hard-working girl (who I remember delivering milk in the morning ala Geum Jan-di) to replace the superstar. He trained the new girl and everything.

   Then, the angst arrived when the real superstar came back, BUT with a new face. And I think she wanted revenge or something. I don’t remember what happened after that.

    

3. Black like my soul
   

   Hi everyone. I’ve been searching for this one Korean drama I watched a few years ago.

   It’s where the lead actor came back to Korea for revenge, I think with a changed identity. He only wore a black suit with a white shirt. He was in some sort of mafia/gangster group, and was the leader. He stayed a hotel after he came back where the lead actress (she used to like him) was working.

   That’s all I can remember. Please help me!

    

4. Don’t forget to bring a towel
   

   I have a scene stuck in my head. A young woman in a red dress has dinner on a rooftop with her boss. There is a pool of water on the rooftop terrace. He kisses her, and suggests they go to a hotel. At the hotel, she tells him to shower while she counts to one hundred.

   Then, when he gets out, she tells him to count to one hundred. Somehow she manages to leave, but he catches on and goes out of the room in only a towel. She plays with him in the hallway before catching the elevator. The security guards are called to the ninth floor because a couple was making out while improperly attired, so her boss runs into the stairwell and loses his towel.

   He tries to go into the first room, but there is an older European woman in there who saw him earlier. She says, “That was a girl you were here with before, but I am a woman.” Please help me find this drama.

    

5. Amnesia and chaebols and wheelchairs, oh my
   

   I’ve had this drama stuck in the back of my head since 2006, but I forgot the name. It’s a story of how a girl and her grandmother took in a guy who has amnesia, and turned out to be a rich guy when he regained his memory. He almost forgot the girl, but ended up remembering her. And in the end, the girl got into an accident and ended up in a wheelchair. Can anyone help me?

    

6. Tragedy is where it’s at
   

   I remember watching this drama many years ago with my mum, but it was dubbed in Chinese, so I can’t remember what it was called. It’s a historical drama, and I remember the main character pretended to betray his family in order to infiltrate the enemy. His brothers were devastated, and I think I remember that they were very angry every time they saw him.

   The main character even brought the head of one of his brothers to prove his loyalty to the enemy. I remember the ending very clearly because it was so sad. I believe the brothers found out the truth, and so they went to save their brother, but each died a really horrible death. The main character finally defeats the enemy at the same time and returns home. However, a soldier sees his wanted poster (since he believes he is the enemy) and shoots him down with an arrow.

   It was a really tragic story so I hope someone knows this drama! Thank you so much in advance!

    

7. Heroines and bodies of water don’t mix
   

   Hey! So I don’t think this drama is that old—maybe two to four years ago? Anyway, I remember watching clips of it here and there, but I don’t remember the name of the drama. All I remember is that the male lead was very good looking!

   The scene I remember has the girl and guy going somewhere because she needed his help. Then he threw her into a pond. There is also a scene where she has no shoes on and it’s raining. Sorry this isn’t much info, but this is all I can remember!

    

8. Every drama ending ever
   

   So I remember turning on the TV and tuning into the last scenes of this drama. I didn’t know what it was about, and i was only able to catch ten minutes of it before it ended. (Also, I don’t know when it aired.)

   All I remember is that there was a guy who I guess got someone pregnant, so he was with the baby mama’s family, yet he was in love with someone else. The girl asked him if he would go to his love since she was leaving on a trip, I suppose.

   What is most memorable is the last scene, where the guy goes to meet his love at a pier. They see each other, and a big boat can be seen. That’s how the drama ends. I know it’s not a lot to go by but I’ve been so curious lately about this drama, since I never got to truly watch it. If anyone knows or recognizes this, please let me know.
