Just looking at that pic of Ji Sung and HJE at the top makes me miss their pairing....I hope im not the only one who does lol.

This sounds cliche but a good cliche...like a guilty pleasure type of drama. The competition seems insane but KBS2 has lucked out with getting a lot of big stars this year so maybe they'll get someone good.

Plot twist they're able to get Won Bin or Kang Dong Won to return to television ... HAHAHAHA ! (who am I kidding lol)

On a more serious note, yes the drama sounds cliched but considering how much I loved Secret (yes, all the good and bad of it) I'm looking forward to another roller-coaster ride of emotions with this one.
KBS is going to have to brings out something big to counter Legend of the Blue Sea. With the above story, I don't know if it'll be able to though.
As a viewer I'm just going to kick back, relax and enjoy the ensuing mayhem that will unfold lol.

Honest question... Knowing this is against LMH/JJH who in their right mind would sign up for this now? Coz let's face it no matter how makjang that show goes (which I hope it won't) it'll be a hit.

So it is going to be LMH against this writer again interesting. Last time secret won against Heirs maybe that is why KBS chose this time slot. However this time JJH is in the equation I wonder who is going to win. Round 2 fight!! XD

On the battle between Secret and Heirs: I thought Heirs was a terrible drama, so it would make sense that Secret would pull in more viewers (albeit very makjang, it was fun to watch). Indeed if they can't secure an amazing cast, Legend will definitely win. Even then, the ratings might only even out because we know the writer of You Who Came From Another Star knows what she's doing.

but for us who stream online, it doesn't matter who the 'winner' is because we can watch BOTH!

Ohh this is the other writer, not the one who wrote Mask right? Looking forward to it, I liked Secret but Mask disappointed me.

I watch Secret several times. While i left several drama unfinished (such as Oh My Venus, i almost missed the last episodes).. SO hope the writer will make something as interesting as Secret.

The sequel to Signal you never wanted, in which Hae-young, Soo-hyun, and Jae-han get sucked into a wormhole and live out their melo-counterparts. Jae-han and Hae-young are now brothers, Hae-young caves and falls in love with Soo-hyun, probably from the stress of his brother no longer being innocent and/or dead, plus having to capture the man he once called friend. Worse yet, Jae-han's gone to the dark side (10 bucks says he's a jerk too) and Soo-hyun is less bad-ass (probably), but STILL has to wait 15 years for a holla back. Idk how he did it but I BLAME KIM BUM-JOO THE MENACE!

And in other news, the title sounds like one of those cheap, pseudo-porn historical fictions I NEVER secretly read in high school...

That Secret screenshot of Hwang Jung Eum and Ji Sung looks so good. I really need to check out this drama just for them.... *__*

Savage Heat sounds complicated and angsty and dramatic. I guess Secret was probably like that too... I tried not to read many spoilers about it. Interested to see who KBS can get for this drama though. Gonna be tough fosho.

KBS is going to have a hard time finding someone who'd want to go up against LMH and JJH.....fighting to them!

I'll watch Savage Heat depending on who they cast. I want awesome people.

While the synopsis didnt seem interesting but seeing the leads of Secret.. For someone who is not a fan of melodramas i got suck into Secret. It was that good. But good for 1 time viewing only cause my heart couldnt take another round of angst. This drama will depends on what leads get casted. Then we shall decide whether it is a plan to watch or skip it.

Park Ji-eun is the probably next star writer after Kim Eun-sook, although the main difference between them is that Park Ji-eun's writing skills is much stronger and smarter compared to Kim Eun-sook. It would be very difficult for MBC and KBS to face her drama with LMH and JJH attached to it.

KBS and MBC could try to throw a cheap cost drama and wait until LMH and JJH drama to end...or else they need to have a drama with very very strong script and good direction

If she's the writter, I'm in!

I liked Secret but I don't think I would've sat through all of it if it wasn't for Ji Sung and Jung Eum's stunning chemistry. The story was really good, and I liked how they switched around the Othello theme to make it falling for the one you hate. But it was admittedly a very hard show to watch. That ending was my consolation prize for sitting through all the negativity. Likewise Innocent Man, but I didn't get the ending I wanted. So these two writers make me very wary to follow.

If Song Hye Ko and Ji Chang Wook participate in this drama, I think it will be very interesting. Anyway, who will be the director of Savage Heat ?

Easy casting, the banner says it all, cast Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum, do I even need to justify why I suggest them, I think not. If not then, Soo Ae and Hyun Bin, anybody else like the pairing??

Kim Ji-won would be amazing, she is an incredible actress, and I hope to see a lot of her. But she would be too young, I suppose, having to wait 15 years for the hero? They would have to pick a more mature actress. Lee Yoo-ri? LOL. Forever typecast as the queen of melos. I did love her turn as the evil lead in Jang Bo-ri is here, though. She's a great actress.

I don't know why she gets all these parts I find her plastic sergery to look so unnatural and to me it's such a turn off, it grosses me out that she is the love interest for the sweetie from reply.
