Bad Guys return to OCN for a Season 2

Fellow drama addicts, it is time to celebrate for the drama gods have answered our prayers! OCN is making a Season 2 of the bone-chilling crime-thriller Bad Guys. But wait — that’s not all. The writer-director duo from Police Unit 38 is coming back together to helm this new project. Can I get a hallelujah?
The first season of Bad Guys broke OCN’s previous ratings records, reaching over 4% viewership, which was quite the feat at the time. Starring Park Hae-jin as a psychopathic murder suspect and Kim Sang-joong as a good-detective-turned-black, this drama was all about Machiavellian philosophy. Do ends justify the means?
Three hardened convicted criminals team up with two desperate detectives to solve gruesome crimes and catch the culprits responsible. The writer behind this masterpiece was Han Jung-hoon, whose other projects with OCN, Police Unit 38 and Vampire Prosecutor, have also garnered praise. Writer Han is currently working with MBC’s creative team for its upcoming drama Missing 9, and as soon as it is finished, he will turn to Bad Guys Season 2.
For the new season, Han Jung-hoon will be re-teaming with PD Han Dong-hwa from Police Unit 38, who was the on-set camera director during Bad Guys’ first season. We don’t know yet if any of the actors will be returning, but considering his track record working with Writer Han, I wouldn’t be too surprised if Ma Dong-seok popped in for a cameo.
Season 2 of gritty crime-action drama Bad Guys will air on OCN in the latter half of 2017.

Oh yes, Teacher as a psycho would be good. he never really got manic enough as Wang So, though there were flashes of insanity. He should be a Joker-like psycho

Was super happy to see this but then deflated a bit when I saw the original cast isn't confirmed to come back. There was so much left hanging at the end of Season 1...I need my squishy mob leader back and time to drool over our hitman strutting around in a suit :(

WOW I didn't expect that at all!!! This is great news indeed, what would make it even better is if the original cast is brought back. If it wasn't for them that drama wouldn't have been as good as it was seriously. I will be really pissed if they don't bring back at least three of the original cast...

interesting because afaik of all OCN detective dramas this was probably the only one that actually had all the character backstories resolved.
i hope the writer works on vampire prosecutor next! vampire detective was so disappointing

I am about to finish it... and...and...I CAN'T WAIT FOR S2... i am also hoping,wishing,praying that the original cast will still be in it :) MDS and PHJ fan here :) i also wish it will be longer, with the likes of CSI( which i was a huge fan of)

Woow i just finished watching Bad guys.. I am hoping, this season two would have the same cast though.. But i guest park hae jin is on Man on Man this year :'( i would be so sad if he weren't be here on the second season .
