Oh Snap! Lee Bo-young’s dangerous Whisper

It’s only fitting that the posters for SBS’s new legal thriller Whisper would feature a secretive whisper between our leads (literal, but hot!), and the behind-the-scenes stills of the photo shoot add a fun contrast to the moody tone of the posters. The taglines read: “You were my enemy, and my nest, and my only love,” and “Her dangerous whisper that shook up my life.”
Whisper stars Lee Bo-young, Lee Sang-yoon, Park Se-young, and Kwon Yul and premieres next Monday, March 27 on SBS.

Haha, that was the one time I was actually annoyed. It was such a terrible PPL insert... like it was done last minute, and so cheesy! Worse that KOD's orange juice PPL at Anthony Kim's insistence.

At least it wasn't Yuri who's eating the sandwich, she's been casted in the drama to promote for subway.
When she was getting dressed to go to the trial and her aunt came in I thought here we go the subway sandwiches are on the way.

Can't wait to see how will it do in the ratings next week, will it be a hit like Defendant, Defendant last episode recorded 28%. My Mondays/Thursdays feels empty already without Ji Sung and Eum Ki Joon on my screen.

Can Whisper break record of Defendant? With romance factor in the genre, i think more viewers will love it.
SBS so scary, from Romantic Doctor to Defendant to Whisper to My Sassy Girl > Temperature of Love, the line-up so strong.(not so sure about ToL after Doctors)
MBC: Night Light > Rebel Thief > Lookout > No Sex and the City --> Lookout and No Sex sounds like another MBC flop.
KBS: Hwarang > Perfect Wife > Third-Rate > School 2017 --> not so sure about Third-Rate and School 2017.

Based on the past records of the writer, I think Whisper will be a lot more serious than Defendant (especially the main characters sure are someone we will love and hate at the same time). Defendant's plot was more easily connected with the audiences - a male lead seeking a justice, which in my opinion quite straighforward plot. Whisper on the other hand probably will be more complex.
I will be happy if Whisper can reach 20% or even high, especially with this kind of promo. I am also very confident with the writer and PD to at least produce a well written and directed drama.

Yes, Defendant had twists and turns, but the plot was straightforward. I also think Whisper will be darker and more complex.
I think it will premiere to double digits, and then, of course, it will depend on how it connects with the audience, but I think the field is wide open for it to take over where RDTK and Defendant left off for SBS. I thought Rebel might get a good bounce once Defendant ended, but I'm not sure any more.

You are right. I am hoping Whisper will be succesful too. I have a feeling, Park Kyung Soo will cast Ji Sung in his next drama. ?
Rebel on the other hand, a good sageuk drama but lack of something that can draw more audiences imo.

From just looking at PD note photos of LBY's costume change, is she going under cover in the law firm (with LSY's character help)? And that's early in episode 2 from their photos. So expect a lot of going-on for first episode.
Sounds like LSY got his wish, action and semi-villain role in one.
