Im Soo-jung, Han Joo-wan meet in family film Your Request

Im Soo-jung (Chicago Typewriter) has just confirmed her next project. It’s a drama film called Your Request, about a 32-year-old woman who lost her husband two years ago due to an accident and how she copes with raising her 16-year-old stepson from her husband’s previous marriage. Im Soo-jung said that she liked Your Request’s script amongst the many offers she received because it was a simple story about family, but it rang deep with meaningful emotion.

Han Joo-wan (Blow Breeze) will play the man who stays by her side, always close enough to help her or protect her when she needs it. Her orphaned stepson who has no biological ties with her will be played by Yoon Chan-young (Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim). A family unit born of necessity not blood, brought together by tragedy—it’s definitely a heart-wrenching setup that’s already got me searching for a box of tissues.

Director Lee Dong-eun (The Change of Seasons), who is a relative rookie in the industry, will be helming the project; it is being produced through Myung Film Lab, a subsidiary of the larger Myung Film Group solely dedicated to encourage new filmmakers to create innovative works.

The movie Your Request will begin production in mid-June.

I love Im Soo Jung and Yoon Chan Young as her stepson? Love it. Chan Young already made my heart broken to pieces as Song Yoon Ah's son in Mama : Nothing to Fear so I am looking forward to this movie.

Lol, I thought it was PBG too upon first glance.

Im Soo Jung is consistently busy in Chungmuro and it's easy to see why after CT; She's so charming!

I think she looks very pretty without makeup, but she received a lot of hate messages in her Instagram when she posted a no-makeup photo. It's a bit irrelevant to this post, but I absolutely love her intelligence, awareness and gratitude/respect for herself and the life she chose.

Woah, I can't believe the netizens are so harsh! Hating on her for not wearing make-up? Especially when she still looks pretty regardless? I do love her reply though, how she loves and accepts who she is and how she looks even as a woman in her 30s. So kind and self-respecting. I love her so muchhh ???
