I love to hate BTIOFL cliffhangers. They're all so good! POSSIBLE SPOILER:

Anyone else hope that ep 9 is just those two going about their lives without letting go of each other's hands and talking about "our" stuff? Just me? I guess that's why I'm not a drama writer.

That sounds like one of those things that we say we could watch for hours but really couldn't, hehehe.

Like, "I could watch a whole drama of Lee Min-ki folding laundry". Do I really mean that? No. :P

(Or do I?)

Well, that’s why I suggested one hour. After that we can get back to the drama!!!

Just imagine watching Lee Min-Ki folding laundry while folding your laundry. It’s practically the same thing as dating, right? So of course you mean it! Doing/watching nothing with your partner is the best part of any relationship.

I’d write that episode: starting with the bus ride—

Se-hee: Let’s take OUR bus back home. We can sit on OUR seat in the back, hold OUR hands, and thank OUR ancestors WE are together.

Ji-Ho: *with every “uri” she looks up into his eyes, then back down to his hand clasped around hers, surprised at first, but then her face melts into a puddle*

anyway, I´ve had a flu but revovering, just my iron deposits are low. this is what I get with the recent sleepless nights and overworking 3 weeks in row. no matter what, I´m going to get my 8 hours from now on and my employer can´t push me to answer e-mails at 11pm.'
that, alas, means less dramas as well, but I caught up with most while staying home. BTIOFL - well I am not totally hyped about it but I do appreciate a drama with men who acknowledge a womans´ choice and freedom of decision, protect her from sexual and other harrassment and give her space to breathe in the midst of their affection. they also encourage the girl to stand up for herself and speak up. stunned. too surprised to speak.
why are many dramas weaving in sexual harrassment and abuse though is it because of the recent scandals everywhere
witch´s court - I really can´t stand Choi Gab Soo and his puffed up sageuk speech. It is just annoying to listen, don´t even know or care about what he is saying cause it is muted by my cursing at time wasted. ironically, we skipped the Your Dad Killed My Dad trope only to end up with Your Mom Hid My Mom. boring.
While You Were Sleeping - the better Lee Jong Suk gets in comedy parts, the more I enjoy this. This is why it was such a necessary role for him to play. Woo Tak is so cute like a plushie toy, and Robin needs more screen time. whoever is confused about why color blindness is a big matter, it is in police, they can describe suspects wrong, give false directions etc. it is a very serious matter

meantime, so many fake trailers for T2B2 i get frustrated and angry

Nope. I took out my list of 'dramas I need to watch' and binge-watched Chicago Typewriter to survive last weekend. I did not expect to die and go to drama heaven and then die again because it was so good. It wasn't a perfect drama but after episode 8 I was a goner.

On Chicago Typewriter - probably this is one of this writer's works that I love - same writer of Kill Me Heal Me and Moon Embracing The Sun. Great minds think alike! I have started a lot of new dramas lately and dropped most of them. I went back to Chicago Typewriter, which I had started and not finished because of other shows I was watching. Namely Circle. Anyway, this is a great drama and I am enjoying it a lot. It was really well done, and has an interesting story.

I've been subsisting on KBS drama specials. One hour only and no commitment. I also recently started Neighborhood Hero because I suddenly missed Lee Soo-hyuk and I haven't seen that drama. I know it has Park Shi-hoo but I kind of zone out whenever Soo-hyuk is not onscreen so all is good, I guess. It's just the perfect bit of brainless watching that I need. I couldn't start the dramas that aired in the Big Bang of Dramas last October because I can only think about BTLIOF.

I usually catch my backlog of dramas in-between (I was supposed to start Chicago Typewriter), and fill in some gaps with catching whatever is going on (avengers social club, and catching HJW on Hospital Ship) and my weekly dose of 2Days and 1 Night.

This week is particularly hard cos of the tragic news of our gutaeng hyung Kim Joo Hyuk. I dont think I can ever rewatch the S3 episodes without tearing up. He was the reason I started watching 2D1N S3 (which was my very first Korean variety show) and faithfully watched every single episode.

It's hard to say goodbye, but to Kim Joo-hyuk, thank you for your hardwork to entertain us with your works. I know him more as an actor than an entertainer, and movie Love Me Not (with Moon Geun-young) in 2006 was my first time watching him. I'm so sad to see him leaving so sudden, but I'm thinking at least he wasn't very lonely and happy during his last days as he just got his acting award, and although his wish to get married wasn't fulfilled, at least he was in a relationship with someone.

I hope his family and Lee Yoo-young will be strong.. I don't know when I'll be able to watch Argon, as it was his last drama and gift (he also has one or two movies for next year release I believe).

Goodbye, Sir. We will be missing you, a lot.

Still feeling sad from his passing. I didn't think it would affect me this much. I wasn't a diehard fan but he was one of those actors that I have some kind of attachment to from my early k-drama/film days.
I saw a clip of Moonie at his funeral. She was in tears when she left.
I was hoping to see Park Eun-bin too.

His film career was taking off to new heights when he died. I like his performance in " The Truth Beneath" with Son Ye-jin and especially in "Confidential Assignment."
Looking forward to watching his other films that hasn't been released like "Heungbu" and "Drug War." I hope I'll find "Argon" with subs somewhere.

He was a good man as evidence from the outpouring of love from his fellow actors (more than half of the industry) both from films and tv.

R.I.P Kim Joo-hyuk!

Moonie looked so terribly sad, and she wasn't the only one. Maybe Park Eun-bin came during his wake but she wasn't in the video, I'm not sure. But I'm sure she is also grieving somewhere that we don't know, he wasn't only her co-star,he was also her sunbae in the same agency.

I saw Argon with eng subs in Kis****an, and I think Dramacool /watchasian also have it. Not sure about any legal site. I plan to download it first and save for later. It's hard to watch something when we know the main actor is no longer with us, and we are still sad about it.

Kim Joo-hyuk's father Kim Mu-saeng was an amazing actor! (Best of his generation from what I heard from K drama fans of old).

"Tears of the Dragon" was my first time seeing him in a drama and that changes the way I see sageuks.
I went from just watching for entertainment to embracing Korean history. Most of my favorite actors are the best in this genre.

I love Joo-hyuk's tribute to his father when he played the same historical figure, Doctor Heo Jun in "The Original Story."
I'm sure it was challenging for him because he was stepping in to fill big shoes . Not only his father's but Jun Kwang-ryul also.

I hope there is a happy reunion in that heaven that he was talking about!

Yes, thank you for this post dedicating for our Kim Joo Hyuk lovable cute Gutaeng Oppa. :(

I only find his passed away's news 2days ago by coincident from YT, saw the 1st clip, I feel blank and tears came down unplanned for hours. I am devastated.

This is one of most sadden artist death literally. He is so close with us with his 2d1n's charms & reached new peaks with many movie project & getting married :(

2d1n S3 when Joo hyuk Oppa & tired crab PD still working are my most favourite episodes, they are hillarious. When I got tired & worn out, watching these episodes make me smile again. Now I don't really know how to watch all these episodes anymore, especially Non Smoking Project, Backpacking Trip (where he runs thru mart like kids) & when they write letters 20years from now where they sleep at NK &SK future joined country border :( Omg, tears flow..

i dont think i would ever forget the episode when they challenged OT6 to park 10-20 over vans as quickly as the staff driver... joohyuk helmed it with such confidence, declaring his perfect driving record for over 2 decades.
it's things like that made me feel as if everything in 1n2d somehow built that stage for him to leave us in such a painfully cruel way and yet he left beautifully: him leaving the show but never really left, still lingering as to make special appearances, dressing up as mogu, watching over the rest like the big brother he is, and yes that future letter to the members... that song "remember the member", those lyrics! and the new year visit (still have such hilariously lousy luck in games!!) i really love him and he has always been my favourite member... so worried and considerate all the time. i was devastated when he left the show. i was waiting for news of his marriage... God, you truly only take the best.

I am still not able to handle his passing well. It broke me when I saw pictures and videos of Junho and Deffcon crying. I have always thought Junho was one of the most affected when Joo Hyuk left 2d1n. Joon Young who did not hear of the news until days later.. that hurt me too. He was the youngest and most uncomfortable with Joo hyuk at the start of season 3, became his close maknae towards the end. I can't handle it. It is a different kind of relationship when you sleep together and suffer hard reality together. Rest in Peace. Much love.

I can't believe I was affected by this too as if he is a person that I've known forever. I just got off work and casually checked my twitter when I found out what happened. I literally stopped walking, and felt a rush of pain. I watched 2D1N since season 1, but I was so fond of the season 3 cast and I cried buckets when he left. I just keep on crying every time I see a post about him.

I know 2D1N did a special episode about him and I have to yet to watch it. I bet I'd cry watching it. I saw clips about Joonyoung's message to him and Kim Joohyuk left a message too 2 weeks before his death for the show's 10th anniversary.

Thank you so much, Gutaengie Hyung. Thank you for giving us so much memories. Earlier in the show you were worried about how no one would know who you are and you weren't anyone's favourite. If you could see us now, or how everyone reacted to the news, you'd be able to see how loved you are by everyone.

I've been grieving over the unfortunate demise of Kim Joohyuk since Monday. Can't watch either variety shows or dramas, and I've been really slow this year in catching up episodes. Also, none of the current dramas make me want to look forward to the next day for subs since Rescue Me ended. In the variety front, 1n2d and IC are on strike, and I don't find other programs interesting especially those with idols (no offense to fans). I'm planning to pick up a Japanese drama soon, but I'll get over this gloomy period first.

Hi Everyone!

I hope you are all doing well today. ..... November already! Still can't believe that. ..... For those living in the U.S., don't forget to turn your clocks back one hour this weekend.

This week:

Temperature of Love - The more I watch this, the more I see that actor Yang Se-jong reminds me of Song Joong-ki in his acting style.

Witch's Court - I don't know who's worse, Jo Gap-soo or his nephew.

Mad Dog - A little concerned that Min-joon doesn't seem to be thinking about the possible consequences of his actions. He almost got in to trouble of couple times had it not been for the Team.

While You Were Sleeping - I continue to be quite interested in how Lee Sang-yeob plays the role of attorney Lee Yoo-bum. Soooo different from the lawyer he played in Nice Guy.

Buam-dong Revenge Club - Finally watched the first episode! Loving our trio of ladies, but oh my gosh those two husbands of theirs are awful people.

That's all for now. ...... Take care everyone and have a great Friday!

Buamdong Revenge Social Club :

I love this drama for so many reasons. But I must admit I'm stupidly shipping the stepmother/stepson duo. I seriously didn't have such a strong and irrational ship since Angry Mom. Damn the chemistry and pairing is so strong. They find support in each other in such a deep and meaningful way. It doesn't look any kind of taboo in the context because they basically didn't know each other before and are pretty much adults, but since it's a korean drama, I mean, not a tragic greek play, you know a loveline is impossible.

I suppose my list of Non-OTPs (characters that looked like an OTP without being one) will sadly add this drama alongside Lookout, Angry Mom, and many others. *feels*

OT week 38! Hi fellow Beanies! We had an unseasonably warm fall day yesterday at 80F, and I got out and played a few holes of golf. Fall has multiple personalities where I am because we were also at a bonfire last weekend when the weather was near freezing, and Halloween was drizzly and cold-to-the-bone as well, which my son is weather adverse and was ready to go home after the first street he went down. May daughter was more prepared, had 3 layers of socks on, and could have stayed out all night. To my Stranger Things fans, the neighborhood Halloween party we attended was decorated with things from the show, including the lighted alphabet which was made by a 13- year- old and was super adorable!

I had to drop Temperature of Love this week. Real life took over, and although I really do like it for the most part, something's gotta give, as they say.

But, my new crack is Because This Life is Our First and the "Our" in the title just took on a whole new meaning after this week, as "Our" is synonymous with "I Love You" and I will never hear that Korean word "Uri" the same anymore. The comments are a bit daunting though, and I feel that I can't write much there because I figure that someone else has the same thoughts and I just can't read all of them to figure out if what I'm saying is original or not, so will keep my thoughts on my fan wall, I think.

I'm still watching the US show, The Good Doctor and it's still so good. Actually, it's what I watch first in the week. Hubby and I make a point to watch it together. Poldark has some swoon-worthy characters this season, but I haven't had the chance to catch up with that.

We are having a baby shower for my SIL this weekend. Before me, she was the kdrama expert, and still a kbeauty wiz. It's been fun getting ready for it. I was in charge of games and gifts, and have sheet masks as thank-you gifts. Unfortunately, only 3 people have RSVP'd, which is why I chose something I would actually not mind having more of if it's not well attended!

My daughter and I had this convo this week.

Daughter: *After getting tucked in.* Mom, are you going to be in the living room?

Me: Yes.

Daughter: What will you be doing?

Me: Watching a kdrama.

Daughter: I like that you do that. I can hear it out there when I'm in my bed...

Me: *Thinking to myself, Oh, what a sweet girl. She finds comfort in me being where she knows I'm close to her.*

Daughter:...And the Korean voices make me tired and I fall asleep faster.

Me: Glad I can help with that, honey.

Moral of the Story: So close, but yet so far.

2nd Moral: Always buy gifts that your guests appreciate, but if you can make it a gift you appreciate, Happy Baby Shower to you if there are extras!

3rd Moral: Stay safe and sound until next week!

@Ally @kiara - I will confess, I'm rather cool towards the Han Solo movie, not least because I don't see the point of it, or of having a Han Solo movie without Harrison Ford (and also we already know what happened to Han in the end, it's not like Rogue One which was about unknown characters who had uncertain fates). But I hope it turns out all right.

1

@ally-le The Good Doctor revived me from my US show slump. I've been busy watching Kdramas that I stopped watching Suits, The Big Bang Theory and Supernatural. Ah, when will I ever catch up to these shows ;;

Your conversation with your daughter was pure gold. Do you usually include convos like this in your OT posts? If yes, then I gotta back-read some OT threads and find these treasures XD

@Ally
I'm glad you are still watching "The Good Doctor."
It's my feel good show. It's what I need right now and it's a show that my whole family and I are watching together.

I'm very happy for Freddie Highmore. "Bate's Motel" didn't get half the publicity he's getting now but it's about time.
I'm waiting for David Shore to give him a chance to write and direct at least one episode. He's got so much to give!

It might not be related to dramas, but I was devastated by Gutaeng hyung's passing. I was in tears for 3 whole days, tears just kept falling down whenever I browsed the net for his news. I was happy to see so many of his friends came for his wake, it somehow comforted me in a weird way. He was a good person, a kind soul. Gone too soon.
Rest in peace there oppa.

His personality is the best, he is honest, innocent pure yet very wise & child like at the same time. He can be the most reliable hyung, & can be child like to be taken care of.
I couldn't bare the sadness from his CEO long time friend, his soon to be wife, Junho JJY CTH and all 2d1n crews, and all his closemates fellow actors. At least we know from his wake, he was such a good man when there are so many friends truly care & love him. Rest in peace Oppa, BBY.

Hope you're happy there. Thank you for everything.

@SANCHEEZY and those who are into Japanese Content-

Peach Girl and Daytime Shooting Star are Subbed. Both movies could have been better.

Chihayafuru Part III will be released in March 2018.

I've been meaning to dive into Chihayafuru but have decided to stick with the live action since my siblings assure me it is just as great as the anime.

It is one of the most sucessful manga in japan but highly unknown and underrated among foreign audience. Its fans were asking for anime but no +ve response from anywhere but then a music something happened. In a few months anime was announced and we got 2 Live-Action Movies.
Only 1st movie is english subbed. There might be other translations of it too.
Chihayafuru both movie are Italian/spanish subbed.

omo! I watched Daytime Shooting Star on the plane and i LOVED IT. Found the manga- blasted through the whole thing in 2 days. hee. I thought it was very good actually and very true to the manga, but then again I watched first, then read the manga. And my standards aren't very high- it had all my guilty pleasure tropes and it wasn't done in a icky way, plus the leads were cute, so it made me very happy! XD

ahh Michy i'm one of the harshest critic of Shoujo Content. I started to read the manga thinking it was good. Nope. I was wrong again. Its your typical Shoujo aiming for teenagers female audience. It was still better than many other popular yet medicore Shoujo mangas. Movie is good but i will give both 7/10. I'm being far more kind and generous here.

I don't read manga and only watch recommended or new movies on sites ... But peach and star fell short for both of them had the same concept they were okay , not good but okay .... Watching peach girl first made me predict star ...

But then again am resistant to people who fall in and out of "love" easily espacially over a short period of time ... And I wasn't given enough incentive or more about the charcaters to buy what the movies where selling ...

March one I loved march 2 was boring ...

Peach is literally soap opera aka soup. But then its content of early 2000s so was expected. This is why i was surprised the decided to make a movie on it. Money making adventure.
Daytime Shooting Star is a it different from typical romance movies. You can't sell a manga in a 2 hour movie. But clearly writer lacked a lot to turn into avg.

As it happens manga to live-action demands skipping events that have major impact on characters. I watched 1st half of the movie so can't say much. watching it now.

re: drama slump, I'm in one too. I thought Because This Life Is Our First was a pretty good candidate to break me out of it, it's really charming and lowkey but unfortunately along came Stranger Things 2 and now I simply don't want to watch anything else (I finished it last weekend, it's as delightful as ever barring one clunky episode but the cast keeps blowing me away. Just seconding BECAUSE THIS LIFE IS OUR FIRST. Dyn-O-Mite! My first Lee Min-ki show, and I assure you, it won't be my last. Holy cow, what/who have I been missing?!

I'm also enjoying 20TH CENTURY BOY AND GIRL, which is slow, but has its charms (including Kim Ji-suk in his first lead role, at long last, and Lee Sang-woo; lots of heartwarming friendship and family stuff).

Still tuning in to TEMPERATURE OF LOVE for Yang Se-jong, Seo Hyun-jin, and Kim Jae-wook -- although the going is getting weird, especially with the latter. It started out well, and hopefully will stay on the tracks.

Also watching:

MAD DOG, which has been intense with conspiracy plus insurance fraud and a vibe reminiscent of LOOKOUT.

BLACK, thriller with grim reapers, with a helping of sardonic humor and a very sexy Mr. Hand Towel who names himself after Joe Black.

GO BACK SPOUSES who time travel back to college for a do-over as they cannot stand each other after being together for something like 18 years, but now have a small child.

REVOLUTIONARY LOVE slipped off my radar last week, and I think I'll regretfully have to let it go and hope that Siwon's next project is better.

Hope that helps. ;-)

Glad to hear you're baking up a storm. Hope that hubby is feeling better soon. ;-)

I'm at episode 34 and haven't had time or energy or enough love for the show to finish. I can tell you that some drug gang kidnapped the main character in order to get her to operate on their boss after a shoot-out, and in a wild series of incoherent actions the whole hospital ship personnel was taken hostage. But never fear. They still lived to see episode 35. The final conflict was set up as the following: main character has finally become a part of the crew and started dating one of the cute younger doctors, but the government wants to cut down costs and remove the most expensive service of the ship (aka: surgery), which is currently offered for free. Riveting stuff.

Hi everyone! It's been a while since I was on db, and a very long time since I was on OT thanks to the 'no more kdramas for now' slump.

Everything this cycle has underwhelmed me, but the exception was Because This Life Is Our First, which I was rather charmed by ..... and then Stranger Things 2 happened, and it has basically colonised my head so there is no room for another show, I'm almost shocked by how much I love it, even with one flawed episode (which I'm going to pretend doesn't exist, it's really there only to explain Eleven's new look, you don't need a full episode for that!).

Also I can see why the main cast snatched that Best Ensemble Cast win at the SAG Awards, because damn is this cast AMAZING. I was totally an Eleven and Joyce fan last year, but this year everyone shines, even some with less screen time than they had last year and some we didn't see much of until now (flashing back to Noah Schnapp's entire performance as Will and the look on Mike's face at the end of episode 8). Also I loved the ending, it was perfect, close out with a big 'awwwwwwwww!' for the kids and then shaking terror for what's in wait for them.

I kind of liked that ST episode. I looked at is as possibly opening up a plotline/new characters for season 3. I mean, I didn't like how little we saw of most of the main cast, but if one or two characters from that ep showed up in Hawkins next year...

Plus, I do think it was good for Eleven's character development. Maybe it would have been better if that side plot had been dispersed over several episodes instead of stealing an entire 50 minute block, though.

I can appreciate the idea behind it, and it does serve its purpose, but it's just rather weakly plotted and (apart from Millie Bobby Brown) horribly acted. They could have got the same result by having Eleven actually spend time with her mother, given that she has a desperate lack of any kind of maternal figure in her life and actually feels it (the only woman who's ever given her that kind of caring, however briefly, is Joyce)

I feel like I wouldn't have disliked it half as much if the actor they chose for Kali had been a little less stilted or had the kind of chemistry with MBB that would make the whole 'sisters' thing believable (it's very easy, for instance, to buy that the boys are best friends, or that Jonathan and Will are brothers, or that Steve and Dustin are buddies). But she doesn't, and her gang are annoying caricatures who look like they stepped out of fashion shoots on the 'punk look'. I sincerely hope we don't see them again, at least not more than in passing. Unless they get recast.

I can’t say much about the acting because I honestly do not notice bad acting unless it’s obvious they’re having trouble remembering lines or something, but I do think it was important Eleven met Khali. We knew from season 1 that others were out there an d it would bother me if that had been completely ignored.

I do agree that the sister chemistry wasn’t there, but I interpreted that more as Khali seeing and then exploiting Eleven’s desire for a connection in order to get what she wanted- help finding and punishing the bad guys.

Required fields are marked *

I've heard people didn't like that episode but I found it served its purpose and didn't have any issue with it. It was an episode that got Eleven out of her comfort zone and into a new situation. Let her figure out a better way to tap into her powers and learn more about herself as a person. She came back from the experience wiser and more mature. She also learned that there is a possibility Papa is still alive (3rd season?). Maybe, like LydiBird mentioned, have it spread out more instead of a single episode dedicated to that, but otherwise I personally didn't find fault with the episode.

That's just the thing, it serves its purpose like it's ticking a box, and it's placed rather badly. Like I said, I get the idea behind it but the execution was really poor, and the character relationships they tried to establish in that episode didn't ring true at all (unusual on a show which generally knows what to do to get those right).

It actually managed to do what no other Stranger Things episode has ever done, i.e. get me to look at the clock to wonder when it would be over.

Hi, pogo! Great to see you! I'm late to the party, but glad to cross paths with you after a dog's age.

My husband has been watching STRANGER THINGS, among a whole passel of American shows, and he loves it. I'm sticking to my Kdramas, however. My plate is full. In addition to my current list for Michykdrama somewhere here, I've started watching GUNMAN IN JOSEON because there are no other sageuks right now and I'm in need of a Lee Joon-gi infusion as I had to drop CRIMINAL MINDS (too violent and depressing).

Speaking of violent crime shows, I don't recall if you watched VOICE, but season 2 was just announced the other day. In the meantime, Mo Tae-gu (Kim Jae-wook) is now throwing his weight around in TEMPERATURE OF LOVE.

Hope that all's well with you. Kdramas are keeping me occupied.

Aloha, Pakalana

Good morning! Still been incredibly busy which means I've not had any time to watch more Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim this week. I did get a couple shows in over the weekend though.

While You Were Sleeping I am shocked to say I actually am enjoying Suzy in this. I have not liked Suzy in anything before (including Dream High) so it's refreshing she is actually doing a decent job in this. I watched the first 6 episodes and I'm enjoying this. I am liking the start of the 3 Dreaming Musketeers and hope the drama has these 3 quirky characters working together more often in future episodes. While I am enjoying the drama it hasn't sucked me in like I Can Hear Your Voice and Pinocchio did. It's an enjoyable and entertaining watch but not something I am eagerly awaiting the next episodes for. I'm not even sure why either as I am enjoying all the characters, the fantasy dreaming element is interesting and different but something just isn't grabbing me. I'll definitely keep watching this though.

Mad Dog Only watched 1 episode to see if I would like this. I am quite intrigued with the first episode and it gives me strong Leverage vibes, which I loved. Plus, Woo Do-Hwan is on my screen again and I cannot complain about that. This is one I will continue watching.

Temperature Of Love Out of the 3 new dramas I've watched this is the one I liked the least. I only watched 1 episode for this one also, but it really didn't grab me. It felt a bit slow and plodding. I will definitely watch more as it's hard to judge from a single episode but so far it hasn't wowed me. Seo Hyun-Jin is one of my favorite actresses and I've just watched both Duel and Romantic Doctor Teacher Kim with Yang Se-Jong and he has done a wonderful job in both so I am definitely going to keep watching this. I just hope the first episode was setting the groundwork for a beautiful romance.

Hi, TrinPie! It's been a while since THE KING LOVES, IIRC. (Or was it SEVEN DAY QUEEN? REBEL?)

I've been watching TEMPERATURE OF LOVE and MAD DOG for the same actors as you. TOL has had a number of twists in it, and has been plodding along, but things picked up this week. If you look at it as mostly a character study of the OTP and their friends, you might enjoy it more that waiting for the plot to get in gear.

MAD DOG has a lot of twists, and we're getting into nefarious conspiracy territory now. This show is easier to follow than BLACK, which has its own set of charms.

I can't believe that it was only a year ago that Yang Se-jong was in RDTK with Seo-Hyun-jin. How time has flown. Ditto for Woo Do-Hwan's scene-stealing turn as Ko Nan-gil's fremeny in SWEET STRANGER AND ME.

I want to see Black but I believe Netflix has the rights to it. So I have to wait for the drama to finish airing before it goes up on Netflix :(

I actually didn't remember Woo Do-Hwan from Sweet Stranger and Me, I had to look it up to remember who he played, but then I do remember but he is still kinda vague in my memory. But that whole drama is a little vague in my memories.

Hi Beanies !

8th week in Germany. So this week felt like vacation since we had two days off. I made samoussas and rotis for a friend and her Georgian roommates and they loved it ! It was my first time doing them alone I was quite proud of myself ^_^

I went to an Asian market to buy the a few ingredients and in the one I went to there were a lot of Korean food. I was tempted to buy ddeokboki and kimchi but I don't know how to cook them so I told myself I will try them the next time.

Happy Friday :D

You can just eat kimchi by itself, or as a side dish with stuff. Or you can out it in a pork stew and have kimchi jigae (I think that's its name). Also Kimchi and ramen... :P

Kimchi goes with anything! I’m a kimchi freak! Are it at lunch today with some stir fried beef. My block is called “freethekimchi”
