[Vlog] Our favorite K-dramas of 2017, Part 2 of 2

We’re talking about our favorite dramas of the past year again in Part 2 of our year-end vlogs!

Last week, we talked about our favorite romances, feel-good dramas, and slice-of-life shows like Because This Life Is Our First, Age of Youth 2, Father Is Strange, Fight My Way, Strong Woman Do Bong-soon, and more.

This week, it’s all about melodramas, dramas that made us laugh and cry, and shows that pleasantly surprised us. Some of the titles mentioned include Goblin, Seven Day Queen, Go Back Spouses, The Best Hit, While You Were Sleeping, Liar and His Lover, and more.

As always, you can check out the Dramabeans Youtube channel directly, where you can subscribe for updates.

You girls are so cute when you talked about GY. Love Goblin. Will check out Go Back Spouses next.
A big thank you for your recaps because as I find I at times miss half of the shows I watched because of my slow reading of subtitles and other translations-related problems. Love your site!

Dramas that made me cry? Chicago Typewriter. Chicago Typewriter. Chicago Typewriter. Those last eps of Chicago Typewriter took a while to finish because I had to pause because I was crying too hard. Sigh.

I always wave at the end of the vlog when JavaBeans and girlfriday are saying goodbye.like they can see me. Because I am a weirdo.

Dramas that make me cry include Goblin, Go Back Spouses (i can relate to the story of the couple i love the mother and daughter interaction when they come back to the past i cried a lot because of that and also the couples story) , while you were sleeping. But you forgot about Reunited Worlds I cried a lot in that drama maybe because Yeo Jin Goo's acting is effective.

Go back spouses and Chicago Typewriter. but more GBS since that one made me cry (and also laugh) in almost every episode. Oh and AOY2 left me depressed due to a certain epilogue even though it's not a melodrama -.-
Sad no one wrote an alternative ending for it in the November theme :(

Loved 7DQ! It was my "ugly-cry" drama!! Hated the way it made me look, but loved the way it made me feel. Strong Woman: was hilarious! I loved the romance between the two leads, but I loved the petty rivalry if the two guys even more.

This definitely has piqued my interest enough in Strong Woman to finally add it to my list! I've been hesitant to watch 'cause of what everyone says about the serial killer subplot.

The romance is so good that you won't care about that! I assure you!

I was having a hard time catching all the titles mentioned but they didn't seem mention Stranger/Secret Forest/Forest of Secrets (depending on where you watched it). Which surprised me because in my mind it was the best drama of the year.

You really can't talk about the funniest shows of the year without mentioning Chief Kim! To do so is blasphemy! ;)
