[Giveaway] Win a 1-year subscription to watch dramas on Kocowa

We’re always happy to give away free stuff to Beanies, especially when that free stuff is hours and hours (and hours) of drama-watching! We have 10 annual subscriptions to give away to our readers from streaming service Kocowa, which is currently available to everyone in North and South America (sorry, everyone everywhere else in the world!).

Kocowa is a partner of the Big 3 stations in Korea—KBS, MBC, and SBS—so the content you’ll find there is from those three networks, all subbed in English. The shows range from the newest dramas (Mystery Queen 2, Radio Romance, Should We Kiss First, Return) to variety and K-pop music shows (Running Man, Infinite Challenge, Weekly Idol, Inkigayo). Everything is available through the website and the app, and the service is also now available on Chromecast.

To enter, all you have to do is leave a comment down below telling us where you watch your dramas these days. Winners will be chosen at random. We accept no responsibility for the hours that you will spend binge-watching dramas for the next year of your life if you win. Enter at your risk.

Giveaway rules:

  • Leave a comment below telling us where you watch your dramas these days.
  • Make sure to use a registered account on Dramabeans so we can contact you if you win.
  • Giveaway will be open until Monday, March 12, 2018 at 8:00 PM (Pacific Time). Winners will be contacted directly.
  • Reminder: The annual subscription can only be used in North America and South America.

I watch the Korean dramas from Sacramento, CA. I will be 90 in October. Love the dramas and music. Have been to Korea couple of times.

I usually watch on Viki or dramafever with my husband and two daughters! How great is that...a family of Kdrama “part -time addicts”

I have standard passes on both dramafever and viki. I watch new dramas on viki, kocowa in the less than 24 hours free period. And rewatch old dramas or discovery older dramas I haven't seen on dramafever. Dramafever is also my go to, to watch running man.

These days I watch the majority of my currently airing dramas, along with variety shows like Running Man and Master in the House, on Kocowa. I do still watch shows on Viki and Dramafever if they aren’t on Kocowa or if they are older shows. And I’ve just started watching those tvn dramas Netflix has picked up, although it aggravates me to no end that I have to wait for the end of the live run before I can watch. I totally miss out on the recap parties! 😩😢

I watch on Viki. I used to really love the site as I had loads of time (hence my drama addiction) and used to contribute subs, earning me QC status. But then I moved back to Ghana, and a lot of the shows were 'Not available in your region' (five of the saddest words I've ever read). Now I use youtube and if I really want to find a show google to find a random website.

These days I use Dramafever or Viki, sometimes also youtube for some dramas that are uploaded with subs by the stations (specially short dramas, specials or old dramas) and netflix when I find an old show I want to rewatch (again) there. English subs are everything!

If I am watching solo (90% of the time) I am on my ipad and use DF, viki, and Netflix. If watching with my teen then I watch the same things but use Chromecast to play on the big screen. Currently there are 4 teens losing sleep because I introduced them to You’re Beautiful. One of them woke at 2 am to watch until she had to go to school. Thankfully not my kid but I feel very guilty.

Mostly Dramafever and Netflix. I used to use Viki 24/7 but since I haven't been active as a QC on there I stopped using it T_T Netflix has some older shows I haven't watched too so it's kinda nice to use it.

In the beginning, waaaaaaaaaay before any legal drama watching site was in existence, I watched everything on free streaming sites run by bad ass english subbers who just loved dramas and wanted to share the love. Now I watch on either Viki or Dramafever. I wasn't really sure what Kocowa was about at first, but I'm glad to have all the running man episodes finally subbed. Wooooo! *hands in the air*

I started watching dramas back in the days when Hulu had a ton available, but quickly switched to Dramafever. Now I primarily use Viki, but I also use Dramafever, Netflix, and Kocowa if the drama I want can only be found there.

I watch on Dramafever and Viki. But, I would like to find a new site, as Dramafever has less and less Korean dramas. And, Viki often takes too long to have complete subtitles.
