First look at Yoon Eun-hye and Chun Jung-myung in Fluttering Alert

According to the first teaser, there’s scandal in store for MBN’s upcoming rom-com drama Fluttering Alert. Yoon Eun-hye (Mi-rae’s Choice) stars as a top actress who is a motae solo (meaning never been in a relationship) and a romantic at heart. Then there’s Chun Jung-myung (Master–God of Noodle), who co-stars as a doctor who is a strong proponent of the single life. For some reason, they keep running into each other, but is it just coincidence or fate?
Despite being so famous that she’s called the “Nation’s Fairy,” Yoon Eun-hye’s character is completely ignored by Chun Jung-myung’s character, a successful dermatologist who doesn’t care for celebrities and isn’t interested in dating. To Yoon Eun-hye’s shock, he’s never even heard of her.
Due to a series of circumstances, Yoon Eun-hye’s career takes a turn for the worse, and her agency’s CEO, played by Han Go-eun (Should We Kiss First), asks Chun Jung-myung something unthinkable: “Let me get to the point. Please become her boyfriend.”
When an unidentified assailant tries to assault Yoon Eun-hye, Chun Jung-myung blocks the attack and is hurt in the process. He is sent to the ER, and he kisses her as the background narration plays “I will use the mileage points of your indebtedness to me now.” Wooo, how steamy!
Others on the supporting cast include a slew of rookie rising stars like Joo Woo-jae (Best Chicken), Block B’s P.O. (Temperature of Love), and Lee Hye-ran (That Man Oh-soo).
MBN’s Wednesday-Thursday drama Fluttering Alert will begin airing on October 31.

I kind of feel like this role may waste Chun Jung-myung's talents - he's best when he plays endearing characters, like in What's Up Fox and the first few episodes of Cinderella's Sister. Here, he seems to be going for the aloof/cool type.

Now, now, pre-judg-er. He was great in Heart to Heart, one of my favorite dramas, and we wasn't endearing for most of the drama, but you think he's quite a jerk til you find out what's really wrong with him. I think I've seen everything he's done, though it was a bit difficult to find Hansel and Gretel.

Eh... I didn't enjoy Heart to Heart, to be honest, and it was mostly due to not warming up to the characterisations. Perhaps sweet characters just go better with his baby face in my head?

One reason I liked Heart is because I have the same condition the female had so I could sympathize. And by then I liked CJM no matter what. Then again, I liked the whole cast.

There is something warm and approachable about heroines who struggle with social interaction - I resonate a lot with Park Shin-hye's character in Flower Boy Next Door, vocal and outspoken only in her head. I suppose what I disliked about Heart to Heart was that from the get-go it seemed to exaggerate the heroine's symptoms - the red face was difficult to take seriously, sadly.

I don't like Heart to Heart either. I love everything about the drama, but I seriously can't stand his character's overly pushy attitude towards the female lead. The female lead needs a push to escape her condition, but he was being too overly pushy, with no regard of her comfort at all.

Yes, but because he was that way it made her mad enough to push back and come out of her shell. The cop was overly nice to her and would have kept her in seclusion forever for her "comfort". Which was better and worked for her in the end?

I liked him in Duo too, except the Joseon look wasn't that great on him! I was mad that they didn't give him much screen time the last few episodes. Other characters would talk about him but he wasn't on screen. I couldn't figure out why.

since last few years none of this dramas have clicked.
He tried his hands at variety too (whether to garner more eyeballs or because work is hard to come by).. that didn't work in his favours. And, ah..personal view.. this doesn't excite either.. more because of YEH.. and she looks weird

Her losing a lot of weight is the biggest culprit why she looks different from before coffee prince era. She lost a lot of that baby fat on her cheeks which makes her look cute actually. Now she looks frail but still pretty, I actually liked her look on the missing you days.

Not at all, but it is perplexing to see when you see actors who suddenly have a different jaw line, nose or double-eyelids from what they used to. The plastic surgery comment was directed towards your comment of her looking weird...

No, but I find it interesting that you are making sure someone isn't mocking an actress for plastic surgery, yet you stated earlier that you don't think this show looks good because of YEH looking weird. I watched the preview and she looked like the YEH I know and love, so perhaps the stills they chose just weren't the best.

He is also very good in other types as well. When he was a lot younger he was in a film where he played a repented criminal (more or less) and was so awesome I even bought the movie so I could watch it from time to time.... but it was a defective DVD so I had to return it. This is the name of the movie if you ever get a chance to view it: Les Formidables It was SO GOOD!!

Just added TubiTv to Roku, they have Les Formidables. Also added OnDemandKorea because they have Reset - er, no subtitles but I already know the plot. And Asian Crush because they have Shoot Me In the Heart with Lee Min ki. If you haven't seen it, it's really good.

@bbstl Dong Mae was pathetic (not the actor). My favorite character turned out to be Hae sun, who I disliked the most at first.
Didn't you just give a hint to the person who didn't want spoilers?? I had to restrain myself from replying to that person. And btw, how the heck did that person avoid spoilers??
I think you have to have either a hyphen or an underline to my name for it to pop up, plus you have to spell it correctly.

I have been loving these both for years, so I am reeeeaaaallly excited about seeing them together and for the classic kdrama tropes that made me fall in love with this genre in the first place. YEH looks just as adorable now as she did during the Goong years. Yay!!

Wow, already a full mouthed kiss in a teaser!
It's so strange to me to see Yoon Eun Hye in a glamorous role, having only seen her in Coffee Prince( not sure I can take the melo of Lie To Me and Mirae's Choice from what I heard is...no).
The plot is so yawnfest but I'm hoping it feels fresh and does well for the actors' sake. I like that hairstyle on Chung Jung Myun, didn't really like the one in Master Of Noodle( without an S...*snerk*..)

I like Chun Jung-myung in Cinderella's Sister and Yoon Eun-hye in Coffee Prince, too bad I'm not really fancy of their others dramas. I hope this will be good for both of them.
Why I found the editing is not really good? It's like there so much flaws in Eun-hye make up even though she is an actress in this drama or the make up is intended for the role? I though the make up should be like in 'Take Care of Agassi'

I love Chun Jung-Myun but while I love Coffee Prince and some of Yoon Eun-Hye dramas, I cannot seems to connect with her and just have to force myself watching her drama because of the plot or other characters. I hope this one turns out good.

i really missed eunhye and gong yoo from coffee prince,,but i think this is the way for ms.eun hye to comeback on screen,kdrama,ms.yeh was change than before,she is quit and simple with ordinary actress now...why..?.but i like her,nothing change your tittle as a most popular actress...best wishes to your new drama,,that is big hit this year,,godbless
