Drama viewership ratings for the week of Nov. 19-25, 2018

You guys know the drill—we got some bittersweet finales and some diverse premieres. The first to go was Beauty Inside, the rom-com based on the film of the same name. And though there was initial apprehension from fans of the movie (like myself), the drama adaptation did really well for itself.

Wednesday-Thursday drama Hundred Million Stars From the Sky aired its finale as well, bringing in 3.4 percent. The highest rating for the show was actually its first episode at 4.0 percent. Joining this time slot was Kim Sun-ah’s thriller Red Moon, Blue Sun and Jang Nara’s romance An Empress’s Dignity. Both shows premiered strongly, with the latter already up to an 8.5 percent.

But if thrillers and romance weren’t enough, the weekend offered up social satire SKY Castle and horror drama Priest. Numbers aren’t as strong here, but it is nice to see more variety in genre. Now I’m just waiting for a body-swapping zombie melodrama to join the mix.

"Hide and Seek" actually ended its run on 17 November. I am disappointed there is so little written about its successor "A Pledge To God" starring Bae Soo Bin and Han Chae Young.

Just in case anyone is curious about the absence of ratings for Saturday and Sunday.

Nielsen Korea is unable to provide viewership ratings due to widespread network failure after a fire broke out in the KT building in Seoul on Saturday, leading to communication failure in KT’s network. KT is one of Korea’s three largest telecommunications company along with SK Telecom and LG Uplus.

Thanks @ordinaryguy92 for the report.
I am watching TWELVE NIGHTS which is well under the radar.
I was able to get the ratings for last Friday's (Ep. 7) rating at your fine site here, thanks:

TWELVE NIGHTS airs on cable Channel A so its ratings are minuscule compared to the big boys but I am pleased to note that its most recent episode rating jumped from .2% to .4% so that is going in the right direction. I am enjoying TN and it is available subbed on Viki.
