Ahn Pan-seok and Jung Sung-joo were my PD/writer ship. After HEARD IT THROUGH THE GRAPEVINE I thought they were inseparable but no he had to go and pick up a new writer and do more dramas with her uh...

I'm a bit salty but I hope it'll turn out well.

Well, Pretty Noona brought me so much drama indigestion that I don't know if I can swallow another possibly jagged melo pill.

The music selection was literally awful
Seriously the only thing that drama needed was good and original music. I actually thought that Netflix had changed the music because of copyright issues but, no, it wasn't the case and I couldn't wrap my mind around it.

That’s all I remember from the show. I didn’t get far enough to be really irritated by the mother. The music was just too terrible.

I loved Pretty Noona, it was one of my favourite couple. Yes, it would have been better without the crazy mum, but the couple was great and realistic until the end.

So I'm very impatient to see this one! I really like the casting and the focus is different, not a noona-dongseang relationship but a long terme couple.

I have a strange relationship with Pretty noona: the second half was so painful, frustrating and full of angst to bear, but every time I think about my favourite kdramas, it pops up...

I felt EVERYTHING on that show.
The giddiness, the sexual tension, that voicemail confession made cry!.
And I was with her all the way when she stayed to face the music. Talk about a role model.
He left to avoid it, I felt betrayed.
I'm hesitant because Han Ji-min, pretty as she is, has never wowed me with her acting.

I'm the same. When he listenned the voicemail confession, it was very touching. I loved the scene in the bed when she tried to apologize drawing hearts on his back thinking he was sleeping and he was just smiling during all the scene. The hospital scene was very intimate too, I really liked how they filmed it.

Maybe the profession is different in Korea.
In my country the sell medicines, some only with doctor's prescription, advice on the drug usage and do "magistral formulations" tailored for some patients, e.g. specific formulas for skin conditions they made themselves.
And many other things.

Didn't Han Ji Min just finish a drama....? Not knocking on her acting skills, but I feel like she always lacks chemistry with her male co-stars. Maybe she should try a different genre since romance does not seem to be her thing. She just doesn't have female lead potential/appeal, especially for romance dramas.

I've only seen her in Rooftop Prince but she had lots of chemistry with her male co-star.

Rooftop Prince and Jekill & Hide hurt me deeply.
I believed the guys liked her a lot, but she was quite bland.
Did she improved on "The Light in Your Eyes"?

I would say she did. Just finished The Light in your Eyes. (which by the way I highly recommend). She surprisingly had good chemistry with Nam Joo Hyuk of all people. It could be the director and writer. But I thought she was just adorable in it.

Was never a fan of Han Ji Min but now became a huge fan of her. She is such a great actress. I just finished watching Miss Baek, Familiar Wife, and Radiant last week. She so good, she blown me away with her performances. I'll watch anything she's in now. She's so gorgeous and cute. I'm not a fan of JHI but hopefully he'll change my mind to be a fan of his too.

Good for JHI, his dream came true now. He wish to act with her and had a big crush on her.

I wish the male lead is someone else. Not fond of Jung Hae In because his acting is very fake and cringy.

Guess I just watch it for Han Ji Min.

Han Ji Min is really good in familiar wife, and has a fine performances in The Light in your eyes. Then again both drama has a solid writing/production , so it's easier to get immersed into a well written character. I really salute her choice of project lately. SHe has a knack for a well written drama in her recent project. Or is just her lucky charm?
Working with " I Live in Cheongdam-Dong" writer, after that and jump straight to a Ahn Pan Seok Drama is really a good project career choices.

First, I’m like Han Ji-min is really not up for resting this year.
Han Ji-min - I LOVE, LOVED her in Familiar Wife. I ‘m yet to see Light in Your Eyes. Loved Padam Padam, disliked her character. Hyde Jekyll and Me was a disaster on its own so I can’t blame just her. I don’t remember her in Age of Shadows and Detective K.
Jung Hae-in: the only project he’s been in that I completed was Prison Playbook. He had a brief appearance in Goblin but I didn’t know it was him. I think he was he was okay in While you were sleeping but the drama itself wasn’t really memorable - I only remember pretty colors and a lot of blue..🤔. Don’t ask me about Pretty !
All in all, I was willing to give it a try till I saw it’s from the same team that put together Pretty Noona. The music selection was fucking terrible, oh my gosh!
