Drama viewership ratings for the week of Apr. 29-May 5, 2019

Hey y’all — happy Sunday and happy May (insert gratuitous NSYNC meme). And boy, let me tell you, this month is going to be jam-packed with a whole lot of dramas. But, of course, to make room for the new, we must say goodbye to the old.
First up, we had the finales of sageuk Haechi and fantasy romance That Psychometric Guy. Both performed rather well, never straying from their niche, and ended with 7.4 and 2.3 percent respectively. Not their highest ratings, but not too shabby.
Wednesday-Thursday’s Big Issue, however, had a much quieter finale, garnering only 3.7 percent. It’s never fun to see a show fall a bit short, but there is still hope to come. Different Dreams premiered this weekend, and it’s only the first of the long list of May dramas. I’ll be crossing my fingers for them!

Interesting. Any idea what the rating was? Inkinews does not have it.
I would think it is rather unusual for a 32 episode drama (doing very well in the ratings) and with only 6 episodes left to replace 2 episodes with a series recap.
I just checked DP’s wiki page and it says the drama has 34 episodes so If that is correct there are 8 episode remaining.
On a personal note I really enjoy DP and Namgoong Min’s performance.

Part 1 of the special episode got 6.8 percent and part 2 got 6.0. 👍

There is no explanation why. They postponed the next drama's start date by a week, some rumors say they may only air one episode this week and they did this so as not to have a single episode in its last week, another theory is next drama isn't ready and they want to give it an additional week.

I hope more people watch Beautiful World - some might think it is slow, sad or frustrating, but it's doing great job portraying the various reactions and emotions of parents/grown ups and their children centered around this one incident. Highlight of this week's watch? Lee Sung-min cameo in BW. I missed him in dramaland!

I skipped ahead just to watch his cameo lol.
He's got movies in production so I don't know about dramas. I think he is better off in Chungmuro unless it's another quality drama like MISAENG.

Just started Confession. On episode 4 and it’s sooo good. If it maintains its current quality, it might join Sign as one of my top crime dramas. Glad it’s doing better than the other TVN shows. Can’t understand the relatively high ratings for Doctor Prisoner. Dropped it at episode 4. Zero compelling characters and storylines. Both lead characters are so over the top, they feel like caricatures. Not to mention, the medical stuff is just ridiculous.
