Dramabeans works again \o/

I watched the last episode of Knowing brother and it was nice to see Kim Hye Yoon and Rowoon in a TV show again.

I'm not watching any currently airing dramas - any I missing any really good ones?

I'm currently watching the 2019 Chinese drama My Youth. So far (as of episode 4) it's enjoyable.

Hi DBeanies! It’s been a minute since I’ve been on the OT—lots of stuff happening with the holidays and New Years, and getting sick as well. Not the good sick where you can stay in bed and watch dramas; the one where all you can do is sleep so you can mount some energy to do life and then pretending you’re ok for a few hours only to collapse in bed again. But I think I’m back from the brink! And my brother is married! Finally! And their last reception was last weekend for my mom’s side who couldn’t make it to the wedding, so I’m finally done too!

What’s everyone’s favorite drama on right now? I’m quite enjoying Romantic Doctor Kim 2. It’s the only medical kdrama series I’ve liked. I like the chemistry between the leads, but I could do with less of the wide-eyed Bambi look from Lee Syung Kung.

And still waiting for Crash Landing on You ep 7.

And also waiting for the next installment of Stuck on You (what I’ve named @azzo1’s drama, but no pressure, azzo, I’m not expecting you to write anything about your personal life).

As far as my personal life, apparently, my new sister-in-law thinks my husband is handsome enough to be a Thai actor. She lived there for a while and is fluent in Thai. She was looking at my wedding pictures at the time. I didn’t tell him because he already thinks he can pass for a Korean actor (courtesy of my other sister-in-law)! There’s an open thread story sometime in 2017 about this.

Hope everyone has a splendid weekend, although a little late!

Good to hear that you've recovered! Nothing is worse than being sick and having to stay in bed for days.

My favorite drama that is currently airing at the moment is.. well you know.. I've been so explicit about liking Chocolate. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but it's just the right one for me at the moment. It may be the right one for you, as well as other Beanies too, at different moments in time.

I've also watched both eps from Romantic Doctor 2. Ditto that I can have less of the wide-eyed reacts from our little Bambi LSK. Apart from that, I am on the ride and, somehow, am looking forward to learning if SS2 is on par with SS1 or will eventually pass it.

Dr. Do in still doing things that would never happen in real hospitals, like somehow trying to get a doctor to manage a patient that isn’t his against another doctor’s wishes. I could (kind of) see it happening when he was chief of staff in the first season, but he’s really nothing in the second—a foundation director? The lady that runs our hospital foundation was a local news anchor and I was just imagining her coming to my office and saying, hey, that patient you’re treating? I’m making a pulmonologist take him off your hands! I’d probably just laugh because ??? That makes no sense. But I expected him to do something crazy, and this is Korea, not the US, so I accept it.

Hi! It's good to know that nothing like that would ever happen in reality, because even I who is not working in medical field feel this whole changing of the patient's doctor thing so weird.

Oh, and notifying the media where a high profile patient is hospitalized? I’m pretty sure something like HIPPA exists in S. Korea, and he would be so fired.

{{{both hands waving}}} hello beanies, db is up and running, yay! Has anyone else noticed that Jung Hae-in is everywhere these days? He was interviewed on E-News recently. I loved the movie Tune In For Love (there is a db recap of this), and looking forward to 202 K-drama, Half of a Half. I'm still mad that The Three Musketeers (Hae-in was in it) , which was supposed to be a series of 3 seasons, turned out to only be one season. His cute reality show, Jung Hae-in's Travel Log, is about him producing a week-long tour of NYC. I almost cried for him, he was so scared in the Blood Manor haunted house. (I'll admit I wouldn't be able to go through it myself, not even with Hae-in!) Not to mention that he was practically carded in the Oyster Bar for being 21 when he ordered a beer (he is 32, so cute)!

How about Lee Dong Wookis's show, Because I Want to Talk, with guest Gong Yoo. Really, it was like a couple of old bachelors going fishing and getting all spacey and sentimental about a song while driving. They look like good buddies and classy ones at that.

I'm impressed with the camaraderie of the new cast of 1N2D. Frankly, I was concerned that a new team wouldn't have a chance, but the new PD and new members have my attention and so I'm back watching one of my fav variety shows on Friday nights. Totally mature boyfriend material, too good to be true, maybe?

Dramas: Finished VIP (...but for Jang Na Ra);
Chocolate (slow); Stove League (riveting);
Crash Landing On You (so well done - waiting for new episodes this week);
Psychopath Diary (gotta catch up);
happily rewatching Reply 1988. Along with Coffee Prince, Reply 1988 is in my top 5 K-dramas ever.
That's it in my owl little kdramaland, beanies. Happy weekend \ /

I LOVE The 3 Musketeers but

SPOILER

I am glad they didn't continue it. I have always hated the villain back from the dead only to force new story lines trick. And that particular villain had gotten insanely caricaturish towards the end. If they hadn't shown her back at the end I might have lamented its cut-off because I LOVED all the main characters. But as it is, I am happy with it.

Jumping for joy because Crash Landing is back this week! Last weekend felt empty without all that cuteness.

Still loving Black Dog, but have had to take a break from it this week. My job has been really stressful these last few weeks and the thought of watching something about the bureaucracy of education hits way too close to what is going on in my real life.

Hello my friends! It's been a while since I've peeked my head out on OT. The moment I finished my college applications, I launched into a new wave of drama watching! I'm currently watching Diary of a Prosecutor and Stove League and I finished Psychopath Diary yesterday. I've also been binging Age of Youth 1 and 2 with plans to binge some more 2019 sageuks afterwards and slowly re-watching Reply 1988 with my mom. I'm watching so much partly because I just enjoy K-dramas a lot, but also because I'm trying to escape the inevitable stress that comes with waiting for decisions and comparing myself to my peers. I'm not sure it's healthy to drown my anxieties in hours of television but it's not really affecting my school life. I just can't shake my worries about college even though I know it won't matter too much in the long run. What do you guys think about using K-dramas as an escape from troubles in real life? Should I work on trying to get rid of my anxiety instead of just avoiding it?

5

Required fields are marked *

Fighting, suk! Although it's been a while since I stressed over college applications, but I can relate to using kdramas to de-stress. What you're going through is totally normal for people your age.

Not trying to add to your stress, but there are going to be a lot more things to worry about after college. So my suggestion is to find a way to de-stress that works for you and try not to get too anxious or stress out about it. I know it's easier said than done, but keep fighting! One day when you are my age and looking back, this will all be good memory. :)

Since Reply 1988 is now on Netflix, I am recommending it to several non kdrama friends. I just know they’ll just love it. At least I think they will ... I watched Stranger with my brother over Christmas but I don’t think he’d be into 1988. How fun that you get t9 watch it with your mom!

They’re all good! Really, I’ve watched them all several times. 1997, 1994, 1988 in no particular order of preference (Except that I like the neighborhood setting of 1988 best). I also think the female leads really shine in these series.

I have the same kind of love for the Let’s Eat K dramas as well. My order for liking those are 2, 3, 1.

2

Required fields are marked *

Big Let's Eat Fan, too. Liked all three, probably in order 2, 1, 3 (but not a wide margin).

0

I would suggest watching it in this order: 88, 94, 97. 1988 is my favorite, so it will draw you into the director's distinct style. In my opinion, 1994 was the weakest of the three, so power through it to reach 1997, which was almost equally as good as 88. When you're done, I recommend checking out Prison Playbook if you haven't already (also by the same director).

I dont think there is anything wrong with an escape. But if you can fix what is causing you stress do it. I tend to want to hide from hard things and it never works out as well as just getting it done and over with.

At night, I de-stress by watching kdrama. It keeps my mind focused on the story rather than thinking too much.

3
reply

Required fields are marked *

I completely understand your feelings when you said you used watching Kdramas to de-stress. I do that all the time! Hehe.. Actually for me, when I pick up a drama to watch, I'll pick the ones that correspond to my moods at that moment. One thing I like about Kdramas is that they normally contain so many good life lessons in them. And believe it or not, I normally found the life lessons I just NEEDED at that moment from the drama I was watching. I consider myself somewhat lucky though. So, in all, I don't oppose to using Kdramas to set yourself straight. We are not supposed to be stressed out, are we?

And ditto to the comment that there will be many more things that we will worry about in the future. The trick is to find what works for you to de-stress. For some, as I've seen, they watch movies. Some like to walk in the park or travel to some place they've never been to. I wish you'll find what works best for you, and for the mean time, enjoy Kdramas and all the best for the application results!

I, too, used to work in a place that they didn't really value me. I didn't know that when I was there, but I knew that when I started working at the place I'm currently working now. If the workplace drains all your energy and you feel like going to work everyday exhausts you, you are in the wrong place dear. Because if you're in the right place, working can be joyful and you can't wait to wake up and try new things.

I have read from somewhere that if we only have to wait until weekends to enjoy ourselves, then our lives will be gone so much sooner than they should be. So I really hope you'll find a place that needs you and you needs it: Find the thing that you truly enjoys doing. I believe that everyone has their own destiny and their own life path: when you defy your path, suffering emerges. If you are in your right path, contentment is there. There is a path for you, it just isn't at the place where you're working now.

I do not know if this is going to go anywhere, but prosecutors are seeking an arrest warrant for Seungri in regard to the Burning Sun investigations. He is charged with 7 counts, including soliciting prostitution, illegal gambling, and money laundering. This comes more than 7 months after the first warrant was rejected by the court.

This is not a cute story like @azzo1 and her sticky note guy. Oh no, my beanies, this is more a story (or a short story as it is rather short) of me and my crown.
Yes. I am royalty.
Her Royal Highness, isa, the queen of the weirdos.
I dont know how I became queen of this kingdom.
I dont want to be queen of this kingdom.
I would like to step back from the royal family but they keep reeling me back in!
So, a couple of months ago this guy who lives in the building next to mine stopped and chatted with me for a few minutes. He's fairly cute, but not particularly my type so I was content when it didn't move beyond anything more than a wave in the parking lot.
Last night, I was throwing out the trash when he pulled his car in front of me, blocking my path (rude).
He rolled down his passenger window so that he could chat/shout at me (rude).
He was actually charming. He asked for my number and I said no thanks, because like I said--not my type.
He was on his way to work (3rd shift) and he called me when he got in. I didnt answer because ... well... I dont like talking on the phone and I certainly don't want to talk to some guy at 11 o'clock at night that I just met (more or less).
And then, when he got home from work (I'm assuming) around 2:30 in the morning he sent me a pic of him and his bathroom with no shirt on. I mean, at least it wasn't a d*ck pic but....so not impressed.
Is this normal dating people behavior? Or am I insane for saying, hard pass?

January for me should be lots time for family and fun. Due to Tet, Vietnamese New Year is on January 25. My aunt and uncle with their kids from Texas suppose to be here. My uncle from New Orleans should be here too to celebrate Tet. However, things have change. My grandmother is in the hospital. I feel bad for my uncle from New Orleans though because his mother in law is sick too. Therefore, he plans to be here this week for one week. However, and go back to New Orleans to be with his in law side of the family. However, at this point, who knows what is going to happened. In addition, I have IEP meeting next week. My anxiety of it is high. Also, find out that my gal friend need money as she is unemployed. I can only give one hundred dollars and that is it. So yeah, this month is not that great for me.

In another note, I am still watching Chinese dramas. I had finished Instead of Tipsy Why not get Drunk. I like it very much. I like it that the OTP did not get together until later on. There is no love triangle and second male/female. My only pet peeve is they drag the murder of the one of the father too long. They should have solve that mystery sooner then later.

Romance of Hua Rong, I still have four more episodes to go. I am gonna wait until next week to finished that drama. I am so happy that at least first two episodes of Under Power is now have English Sub. I had watched it raw up to episode 12. I love it so far. I need to finished second episode later on tonight. The Love Way You Are seem cringey but it is cute and funny drama. So far, I like Mango Tv but I am sad that they cut a lot of the kissing scenes and have loud music especially Romance of Hua Rong. I have watched the bts videos. Dang, they cut out all the kissing scenes of the OTP. You can totally see that they have tons of chemistry off screens. I think they are dating because they are toward of each other. I am behind of Joyful Life. I will catchup one of these days. LOL

This year will be year of the Golden Rat. The golden years is every 20 years. Therefore, my youngest son hopefully have a great year as he is born year of the rat. I hope everyone have a great weekend.

TGIF! Hope everyone had a good week! Yes I was gone for a while (was in Korea) but now I am home. Unfortunately there are so many things to catch up, meaning I won't be able to post anything anytime soon. Still I looked through to see if there were any interesting interviews and saw one with director (of Media Content Management Division of CJ ENM) in OCN- Hwang Hye-Jung(46), lady in power? [Starnews, 2019.11.27]

Although OCN is a movie channel, it is known for its "genre dramas" which drew interests and done some star discovery. This achievement was made by Hwang Hye-jung, OCN director whose root is a film. She officially entered the entertainment world at the 1997 Busan International Film Festival. She was in charge of taking care of French film officials thanks to her study in France, and since then she worked for film festivals for four years.

Hwang joined CJ Media in 2004 and has worked as a channel manager for movie channels, XTM, etc. and led a channel as OCN director in 2016. OCN continued to introduce more powerful "genre dramas", changing viewers' perception as simply movie channel. Now it is creating OCN's own worldview with original and dramatic cinemas. Here is Q&A session.

Q: The movie channel OCN is doing genre dramas. They have been strong in the last three years. Why did you choose to reinforce dramas?
Hwang: Simply put, "Change" was needed. When I came to OCN, they were known as "the No.1 movie channel" even though they were making dramas. Various dramas such as "Bad Guys" and "Police unit 38" were broadcasted, and viewers were aware that OCN makes dramas. But it seemed that the marketing part was weak. I felt that it did not have enough persuading power, so I was thinking about doing something new in early 2017. In OCN there were many producers and staff who knew the film well. When I thought about what they were good at, it was genre drama. Since there were talents who were good at movie analysis, organizing, and storytelling, we decided to show dramas that make use of OCN's own colors.

Q: "Drama which feels like a movie" can be said to be the color of OCN, but it didn't skip diversity.
Hwang: OCN has been pursuing high quality genres like the American CSI series. I tought the quality shouldn't be ignored. Even with a thriller drama, there are many genres in it. In the story of a thriller, there is a romance and an action. For example, "Possessed", and "The Guest"- both deal with the soul, but feels different in genre. This shows that OCN can do a variety of projects.

Q: What is the next stage of the current OCN which gained the recognition with genre and diversity for its dramas?
Hwang: The next stage of OCN is "No.1 Storytainment Brand". Beyond still loved the movie channel, I want it to become a brand that pursues the pleasures which can give with stories, namely "No.1 storytainment brand" with story, characters, and fandom as a core competency. The OCN Studio will produce "Dramatic Cinema" content pursuing cinematic material and format, and will continue to develop stories and characters that fandom adore even after the broadcast. In addition, the company plans to continuously create shows through the season system of original contents and various platforms. Soon, it plans to present OCN's innovative worldview, which is reminiscent of Marvel(Marvel Cinematic Universe/MCU).

Q: What does "Storytainment" mean?
Hwang: It is literally entertainment with a story in the center. It doesn't end with simply making a drama and airing it. It is to create something else through the work. Not just broadcasts, but Webtoons, books, VR, and OCN's IP (Intellectual Property). We want to make things that only OCN can do. With Marvel as business model, we are building a worldview of OCN. Whether they are heroes or villain, if we can create a variety of characters through numerous works, we can create another story based on that. That way more various works of OCN could be born.

Q: "Thriller house" is one of the world views that OCN is building. (What is Thriller house? see below)
Hwang: "Thriller House" started with the hope of collecting OCN fandom offline. It collects fandom about characters in the story, and makes them available for offline experience. Actually we had concern about it initially. But when we first did it last year (at Halloween time), there were fans who liked OCN and tickets were sold out. It was the beginning of the realization that there was a fandom.

Q: Unlike other broadcasters, OCN emphasizes the importance of fandom. Why do you think fandom matters?
Hwang: For the past 10 years OCN has been working with determination and aims to become a leader through only quality, well-made genres which only OCN can show, and has built season dramas like "Voice", "God's quiz", and "Bad guys" and numerous Korean heroes and villain characters, which grown into a brand with fandom. The characteristic of OCN fandom is that there are many users who actively enjoy the content. They have high confidence in OCN's original quality and enthusiastically support OCN's worldview and characters. I think "Thriller House", which has grown rapidly from 1,000 to 7,000 audiences in just two years, is an entertainment venue that could bring OCN fandom together. In addition, we saw the possibility of future value-added market watching "Thriller house" where fandom meet characters in OCN shows, buy goods actively, and enjoy VR. OCN's clear worldview and the power of fandom are the...

...biggest drivers of OCN's growth in the fierce drama competition with other channels and OTT (Over The Top). Therefore, the most important thing for us is that we should never lose the value of OCN Original that we can give to fandom, and that we should maintain fandom by making a well-made genre and offline to enjoy them.

Q: This year, the first Dramatic cinema project "Trap" expanded the drama category.
Hwang: Again, OCN wanted to show OCN's own color. We wanted to produce the work that "OCN" comes to mind when the viewers watch. But priority over genre is story discovery, so star writers and directors were brought into drama production. I wonder it is the power of OCN -the well-established relationship among story discovery, production, director and writer selection, and fandom. OCN continues to grow from 2016 to 2019, the number of viewership growth is the highest, and the main target audience ratings are also number one, I think. I am thankful to talents in OCN Studios for this achievement.

Q: Did you have any moments of crisis while producing dramas in OCN?
Hwang: We always have crisis. We have a relatively small number of incoming scripts due to the nature of the genre channel. We thought about "How can we show more competitive works" and challenged planning and development of "Dramatic cinema". The second crisis and concern is profitability. It looks that we'll be making a profit soon. We are also considering OTT.

Q: In recent few years, main station broadcasters have complained about the difficulties of the Korean drama market. What do you think is necessary for Korean dramas to survive?
Hwang: The most important thing is the story(of the project). Nowadays, the viewers' analytic ability to see works get higher every year. We must continue to make works that fit their eye level. And there are many things to watch. It is a reality that we are exposed to various global dramas besides US drama through Netflix. There is a global competition in the home theater of Korea. If you are not good at drama production, you will lose 100% in the competition. Investing and preparing, cost-effectiveness, consensus building, etc. must all be considered to survive. We shouldn't make thoughtless (financial) cuts and try to make high profits at low prices. We should make sure not to lose interests even after a drama ends. To do this, we need to prepare a strong story, and characters thoroughly. In addition, rather than simply aiming at the Korean market, we should consider works that can create global competitiveness and added value.

Q: The cast in OCN dramas are getting better from Lee Seo-jin of "Trap" to Im Si-wan of "Hell is other people" and Kim Dong-wook.
Hwang: We had difficulties in casting until just a few years ago. But now the actors and agencies seem to know that we have attracted young viewers and become buzz-worthy doing dramas with genre that main stations can't do. Actors now seem to think "I...

...should try once". Of course, it was possible because there was a character that the actor wanted to challenge. Han Seok-gyu, Kim Hyun-joo of "Watcher", and Lee Dong-wook and Im Si-Wan of "Hell is other people" were also trying to play different characters through these projects.

Q: Is there an actor you think "This actor should try OCN drama for sure."?
Hwang: In fact, I want to make a genre with director Bong Joon-ho. I told a vision for the team two years ago and there was director Bong Joon-ho there. I hope director Bong could do our drama.

And if I can, I want to work with actors like Cho Jin-woong(Signal), Lee Sung-min(Misaeng), Kim Sung-kyu(Kingdom), and Son Seok-gu(60 days), etc. I'd like to invite actors who have already been recognized for their acting talents, and actors who are rising stars. Star actors are important for us, but we have to cast potential actors who do the acting well. There are also spots where we find new colors for our dramas, so I'd like to find new actors somehow.

Q: There are a lot of actors who led the success of OCN dramas. Who are the memorable star actors?
Hwang: First of all, it is Lee Ha-na. She was much loved by viewers through the 'Voice' series. Actually I was very worried when she was cast. She had weak impression by doing Radio DJs and romance projects, and Lee's role was more important than Jang Hyuk who appeared with. She felt hardships at first. She was afraid that she would ruin the work. Then she had good acting breath with several actors, and as she took control of tone, she did even season 2 and 3. I felt "Lee Ha-na is growing up doing the season". I feel like she is the host of the "Voice" series and family. It is not easy to find, but Lee was a good actress with a sense of ownership for her work.

Ryu Deok-hwan of the series "God's Quiz" is also memorable. He also had a sense of being in charge of the project. Even after his army duty, he asked when we were doing "God's Quiz". Last year, we had a talk show at the Thriller house, and I was able to confirm God's Quiz fandom through him. Also, I remember Kim Hyun-joo, the actress of "Watcher". In fact, I wondered "Will she do it?". I had no personal acquaintances, but she worked with us. I felt proud thinking that we have created a charismatic character for a woman in her 40s through her.

Q: Is there a new star discovered through the OCN drama?
Hwang: The word "discovered" is a little embarrassing, but they could be Yang Se-jong of "Dual" and Woo Do-hwan of "Save Me". In the case of Yang Se-jong, I did not know about him at first. He was introduced as "a really nice guy" and he did acting with sincerity as a new actor. I even thought "To this level?" And he finally succeeded. In the case of Woo Do-hwan, the PD said that his visuals were exceptional. We said that all he needed was acting well, and he did his best. (Before shooting) he called the PD every day and studied to...

...understand his character such as in lines and expressions. The PD showed confidence in the selection of the real rookie, and the actor's earnest attitude seemed to work well for the viewers. In addition, actors who played student roles in the "Class of Lies"' may have been discovered as upcoming stars.

Q: What projects OCN will present in 2020 after 2019?
Hwang: In the original sector, there are "Tell Me What You Saw", "RUGAL", "Missing", "Train", "Fifth Row", "Girl Cops" and "Ireland". In Dramatic cinemas there are "Extraordinary Investigation", "Search", "Possession" and "Dark hole". There are many genres including mystery thriller, fantasy investigation, and Korean fantasy exorcisms, etc. We will do our best to produce and plan the genre dramas with OCN's unique colors viewers can enjoy.

And what is Thriller House?

Over the year, the channel has launched a number of successful thriller drama series, including “Voice 3,” “Hell is Other People” “Class of Lies” and “Save Me 2.” The festival will allow fans of the shows to interact with their favorite sets and scenes in either the Thrilling Theater section or the Thrilling Fun Ground section.

At the former, a haunted gosiwon from “Hell is Other People” will be set up for visitors to experience themselves. In the other section, participants can enjoy various Halloween-themed activity events, such as spooky makeup or virtual reality (VR) zones of horror.

Just wanna share this to Bang Won's fan fans. lol. It is make sense?

'Just saw the "happy together" episode in which the artist that painted BW's fans appeared. She said that JH "carefully" asked her to paint a fan for him to express BW's loneliness. She painted 4 for him. She said that on shoots JH kept displaying her fans in strange ways so that they could be seen. So much so that the director at a certain point called him and asked him if something was wrong as he was behaving awkwardly. At this point JH told him the whole story. She said that the director felt grateful and told JH to display them confidently. This is when she told about the scene in which JH held one of her fans displayed on his back as he was walking away, like a peacock :) She said that when she saw that she was so happy, that she called JH and told him that she will be happy to do more paintings for him whenever he'd want one.

This was very interesting to me as it again shows that the fans were JH's idea, that he WAS intentionally doing his best to display them, and it wasn't just a quirk of BW :). But it also shows that JH doesn't share too much of what he does. Clearly, the director didn't know about what he intended to do with the fans and he only questioned JH because JH was behaving strangely about it, showing that generally, even if JH does take direction, on the minutia of his character, JH directs himself.'

I must be the only clueless person who didn't know Dramabeans was down. Dramabeans worked before I went to bed last night and worked when I checked it during my lunch break today. At that time, Open Thread had zero comments, which surprised me, but I figured DB Staff just posted it late.

Did the site go down in the middle of the night Pacific Standard Time? According to the fan wall, the last post was by @taekkielove at 2:25 AM and the first post was by @amy1009 at 11:34 AM. I missed the blackout entirely.

I have been working so much and so busy I didn't realise DB was off and on again. I am glad it was just temporary. (Very short indeed).
I am glad to be here reading all your comments.
Me, I don't have much to tell. We are stressed out dealing with problems and my only consolation is watching some good dramas,, nevertheless I cannot watch many because I don't have time.
But visiting here is paramount.
Happy weekend, beanies.

Random comment about how I was watching Cunning Single Lady yesterday & what a coincidence the pic is from that.
On another note that drama should be called Single Again.
The synopsis should go like - Divorced down on her luck Aera finally hits hope in the offer of an internship to a top IT company.... But she's not happy. Why? Because it's her Ex's company.
But in need of a good job she is, so she decides to take the job anyway. What will happen when her plan to fix her life & make her ex uncomfortable goes beyond her planning? Will she be able to find her happiness, & maybe an old or new love?

Crash Landing... dear goddess, the chemistry between the main leads is crackling! It made last year's Memories of Alhambra seem lame. I mean, Hyun Bin and Son Ye-jin, separately, are fantastic. But together, oh boy, their chemistry jumps out of the screen.

The episodes this weekend were so worth the wait. And the cliffhanger is a torture.
