Spring love begins for Kim Soo-hyun, Seo Ye-ji in tvN It’s Okay to Not Be Okay

More stills have been released for tvN’s upcoming romance It’s Okay to Not Be Okay, featuring the lead actors Kim Soo-hyun (The Producers) and Seo Ye-ji (Lawless Attorney).
Kim Soo-hyun plays the central character, Moon Kang-tae, who works as a caregiver in the psychiatric ward at the hospital. He lives a difficult life with many responsibilities and, as a result, has rejected pursuing love in his personal life.
Naturally though, love finds a way to nudge its way into his heart when he meets Seo Yeo-ji, who plays a successful children’s book writer named Ko Moon-young. The two form a connection over their mutual struggles in life and they find comfort in one another as their relationship develops.
In the newly released stills, we get a peek at the two characters meeting for the first time. It’s a pretty backdrop with sunlight beaming down and cherry blossoms blooming in the background, but the details surrounding how the two meet are not yet known. Seo Ye-ji looks at Kim Soo-hyun with interest, but Kim has a hardened expression on his face.
Written by Jo Yong (Jugglers) and directed by PD Park Shin-woo (Boyfriend, Jealousy Incarnate), tvN’s It’s Okay to Not Be Okay will be broadcasting on weekends starting June 20.

I've loved Seo Ye-ji ever since I watched Save Me and Kim Soo-hyun is one of the few "hallyu actors" that I think really has potential and challenges himself as an actor, so I'm SO looking forward to this!!

I totally agree with you! He is one of the few handsome actors who can really act. I cry every time he cries on screen, I can't get enough of his crying face (so good acting there, I remember the scene at the epilogue of You From Another Start, SO GOOD!!!! His crying scenes at the end of Moon Embracing the Sun were also so good!).
Besides his crying face, I love him in comedic roles, Secretly Greatly was so good as well, and I laughed so much when I saw him in Crash Landing on You. He really is a good actor.

Absolutely agree about Kim Soo-hyun. He's one of the younger generation actors who seems to me to be really interested in honing his craft as a thespian-type of actor, instead of just relying on looks or popularity. Respect for that!

Kim Soo Hyun has a lot of range and it seems like he wants to improve on that. I saw him in MLFAS and then saw a clip from The Thieves and I was surprised at how different he was.

Love their chemistry. They seem to live in totally different worlds, I'm curious how they'd meet and fall in love.
Seo Ye Ji looks so powerfull in all stills released so far and I'm very excited. Hope this project will do her justice. She has the acting, the visual, the voice and I deserve to watch her in more dramas.

I don't want te to go fast but I want time to go fast just because of this drama. I love Kim Soo Hyun a lot and he's an amazing actor who has range. Seo Ye Ji seems to be a good actress from what I've heard. I'm just really excited for this drama. I don't usually watch healing dramas but I'll watch anything for oppa

TVN has perfected the art of fantasy genre. Whether its a mystery horror or fanatsy rom com, their principal photography is always spot on.
Teaser 3 also looks like a page taken from a children's book for grown ups. Pretty and melancholic
