Does anyone know if there’s a script for Harvest Villa [위기일발 풍년빌라] floating around the internet? Didn’t have any luck finding one so far…

@jenniphuong — If it is actually Eng subs you want rather than Korean scripts, the only Eng subs available for this series are for episode 1. The translators lost interest with 49 more episodes to go. Various later attempts to revive subbing also fizzled out. Someone started a viikii channel for Sharp#2 a year or so ago, but the uploader went away before more than a handful of eps and a sprinkling of subs were added, then after viikii decided to attempt to go legal it withdrew the vids because KBS wouldn’t license them. I don’t know of anywhere the scripts can be downloaded, but they can be viewed on-line without charge or login at the KBS site for the drama. I have posted that info, and the url, a couple of times already here, so please look back through the earlier pages of comments in this topic.

Can anyone please, please, please share/post/upload the script for BAD BOY / BAD GUY / 나쁜 남자 !!!!!!! It has the most beautiful, elegant, well developed scripts I have ever watched in a drama in a long, long, long, long time!!!!! Really, the whole drama was an absolute gem, the most amazing cast, the most amazing production (setting, clothes, makeup, etc), the most amazing OST, the most amazing editing, the most amazing directing, the most amazing plot, the most amazing use of literary techniques (symbolism, etc)!!!!!! Though towards the end there were some plot convolutions and a slightly weak spot in the beginning, it was overall, one of the best, most polished dramas I’ve seen, in again, a long, long, long, long, long time!!!! I really, really, like the script, and will wait until a copy surfaces the web~~~~~~

Both 나쁜 남자 and 신데렐라 언니 are typical of more recent dramas where the authors have forbidden the stations to put the scripts on-line. I have found no sign of 나쁜 남자 scripts escaping so far, but what happened with 신데렐라 언니 scripts is a cautionary tale.

Shortly after the drama started to air, someone started posting the complete scripts of the previous week’s episode on a Korean site. They can only have come from someone close to the production team. It was a very well-known site, in Korea at least, but they were deliberately posting them in an obscure spot using a specially created user nick and obfuscated file names. The whole idea was to avoid drawing the attention of KBS (or Google!) to the leak while it was still ongoing, and for a long time people who came across them by accident or via private tip-off respected this and were suitably discreet about passing on the information.

Then some idiot decided they would win kudos and love by noisily revealing to the whole world exactly where the scripts could be found. Within hours, they had been taken down, along with all links to them, and the user account hosting them had been deleted. I imagine there may have been unpleasant consequences for the “leaker” if KBS got at their identity (which under more recent Korean “Internet name” policy is very easy for anyone in authority to do, since that policy means no Korean posting to a Korean site can be genuinely anonymous).

Alas, this happened just as the final epsiodes aired, hence before the last two episode scripts had been posted, so those of us who had been quietly squirrelling the things away, hoping to get a complete set that could be released once the heat was off, have only episodes 1-18.

Someone later posted those 18 episodes to http://www.20woo.com. You’ll find them there at #2449, currently on the second main listing page, as *hwp files in a single zip that won’t open on non-Korean machines using the default zip handler (see my remarks elsewhere about how to handle that problem). Google has picked up their presence there but there has been no apparent intervention to get them removed now the series is no longer such a hot item, so it’s probably safe to mention them here now. I deliberately held back from doing that before in the hope that the original source might yet pluck up the courage to add the missing episodes if the fuss died down, but there seems little hope of that now.

any scripts for queen of reversals?

These may differ slightly from the aired versions of the dramas. The reasons are many, but include last-minute editing changes, reordering of scenes, actors ad-libbing, or final rewrites. Use these as a language tool, but don’t get too confused when the written page doesn’t follow the dramas word-for-word.

I haven’t read through them all, so let me know if something needs to be fixed.
