The cognitive dissonance with this drama is too real. I just want to know already the direction this drama is going to take because not knowing is giving me too much anxiety. I know it’s just a drama but I’m already so invested in Yu Ri and Gang Hwa !!!
The fact that Min Jung i.e. the stepmom, is billed as main cast (and is in the main poster) tells us she’s here to stay and has a big role.
The most logical and obvious outcome for this drama is that Yuri leaves after her 49 days are over but not before healing the wounds her sudden death had caused everyone.
But at the same time the flashbacks and montages of GH and YR’s happy marriage, all those missed opportunities, the inability of everyone to move on makes me want her to stay beyond those 49 days. Her death was just so grossly unfair and all those glimpses of happier times are just so depressing.
The primitive, dog-brain part of my mind wants Yuri to stay, but the logical, moralistic part wants the show to have Yuri just heal and leave everyone.
UGH IM SO CONFLICTED. Even if she stays alive, there’s so much that needs to be resolved.
In my mind, she’ll be leaving after 49 days. It doesn’t make sense for someone who’s already been dead to come back to life. What identity will she take? She’s already dead. She can’t be Yu-ri again.
I think the same. Also had it been the first time we would’ve seen the writers work then maybe it wouldn’t have been that predictable but thus shiw has so much in common with GBC. There this whole resolve our issues and leave situation fit too and only that makes sense here too.
