not a moment wasted! tight script (with some convenient plot twists and circumstances, yes) but solid! and the acting… wow!
It’s worth it all the way through. Such an amazing study of mothers and motherhood. It’s hard to believe what a great actor Son Seuk Gu is. I’ve been mesmerized by him in three dramas.

Mother is a drama that kept hurting me (in a good way) but I didn’t mind (because it is so goooood).
