I think that hospital playlist lacks an overall end goal, there is nothing that the characters are aiming for in the grand scheme of things unlike in Prison Playbook and the Reply series.
I think the biggest problem is that they clearly do not have a road map on the character arch since they do not have e definite ending to their story as they hope for another season… PD said at the press conference that they do not have a decide ending… shame I think. Since they do not know where to take this story and characters with a clear narrative with a goal as you say.

I agree. Although my immense love for the cast and characters overshadows my kdrama logical thinking. Haha!

are they not trying to set up an idealist hospital = a successful model that provides right affordable quality care to all 😛
