Ars Technica is (after Dramabeans) perhaps the best site I know of. It deals mostly with sciences from archaeology & astronomy on thru the alphabet, but they do find time to fit in other subjects. Like Kingdom!!

i didn’t like s1 except for zombie scare..plot was moving at snail space.. is s2 really different, or is it the relevance to current real world problems that is making it more exciting

S2 has more action. And an ENDING! But it’s mostly the parallels to current events that made an impression on me.
