ah, that makes sense! now the only thing I don’t understand is the 지다 ending. After looking it up, it seems to be used with adjectives/descriptive verbs and not action verbs.
쓰다 means to write. 여 is more commonly used in 보여 which means to be visible. 지다 is a passive ending. Putting it all together it would mean something like ‘to be written’.
So I just watched a video on the passive tense (English grammar) and now I understand. When you don’t understand you own language, how can you hope to understand your target language. Sigh.
Then I had to review changing action verbs to adjectives in Korean. So now everything makes sense. So I’m guessing a more literal translation would be, “A song that was easily written”?

I think the original form is 쓰이다 as in be written down.

Thanks for breaking it down!
As I told @earthna, I’m confused about the 지다 ending as I thought it was for descriptive verbs only. And that grammar form doesn’t make sense here.

Actually, it’s not a complete sentence, so now I see what “A song written easily” might be more apt.

That seems like a good translation 👍
