I really liked this piece and couldn’t agree more. As a man who’s 30 and also like strict boundary lines I don’t see the appeal with alot of these romances. It would take ALOT for me to even be attracted to someone 10 years younger. I also was thinking about Jugglers & how the couple fought so hard so she won’t be resigned. Like bro, he is your direct boss, of course you cant still work for him and be in a relationship.
Maybe L was chosen because cats shouldn’t act like humans? 😛
Joking aside he was ok in the judges drama, I’ll give this a chance, thanks for reminding me!
Nice blog post! Agreed about everything except Itaewon, it wasn’t a nice drama but I felt no issue with age gap in the romance. Yes, she was 10 years younger but he felt nothing for her until she was older and the difference didn’t really mean much anymore, she wasn’t even really a worker but more of a business partner.
I loved the show. It touched some interesting and delicate subjects.
My job revolves around law, lawyers and courts, so I always find it interesting how controversial subjects get different solutions according to the country’s law.
And the second leads were just perfect (at least to me, but I always love Lee Elijah).

I’m living large. Courting controversy. You should read my most recent blog post.

I agree. I made it through Itaewon Class but the relationship was ewwww. Even the Korean review I watched pointed it out as very controversial.

I only liked him in Miss Hammurabi, I agree with you.

Miss Hammurabi was fantastic. And his character was solemn and stoic, so L really couldn’t have screwed up even if he tried.

2018 was a damn good year for dramas, and this was one of the reasons why.
