Methinks it’s plague in the general sense, not Yersinia pestis. The good news is that plague is caused by a gram-negative bacterium, and probably cannot make whoopee with a virus. Although a host could conceivably be simultaneously infected with both. Yikes… Must inoculate self with more uplifting music. Stay tuned. 😉
