this has got to be the most overdone question in the history of the world it’s so stupid lmao pls the question of humanity isnt this short. when shows ask this question they’re saying there’s no answer but the answer IS not having one. there’s this quote by one french philosopher whose name i can’t remember who said (essentially) the only way to answer the question of why we live is to live a lifetime figuring it out (ie worth living)

IMO, the only reason we get confused is because, even though it’s untrue, all deeds seem to exist in a vacuum. and the only way for people to heal from pain is punitive. but it’s not, restorative justice exists, and the nature of that concept is the exact opposite of how we are all raised to think (a simple example…. we see that if you steal, you get punished. instead of ‘if you steal, we want to know why you stole, and how we change a system in which you need to steal’ while we take responsibility and doing what deeds need to be done to fulfill the victims needs, and that may never ever lead to their forgiveness but THAT is what we want and it’s a literal centuries long process)

its an unanswerable question as times change as well…HONESTLY I COULDGO ON my point is that ur a dummy and it was ur choice so u must accept the consequences!!
