Am I correct in assuming that when they got into the car, that’s when it happened? So technically, the aunt was there when it happened and knew the reason why mom did it.
Aunt had the injury (in her eye) to prove it too. She could’ve been guilty for letting her sister take the blame and self-isolated herself from everyone because of it. It makes sense.
I’m with @smaltwalt in this one. In the station, both her eyes were ok, so I’m not pretty sure when she was injured.
Plus I had been thinking that Aunt and the editor had broken in that train, but it seems they kept on and off for so many years until that moment.

Oh my. Okay, if my hunch is right, it makes sense why aunt is so callous to Hae-won. It’s guilt.

Yes, I think so. In fact, when they were rushing for the car, for a moment I thought it may have been aunt the one driving and not mum.

So I think Hae-won’s aunt may have been the person who killed her dad, not Hae-won’s mom.

The one thing I’m not sure about is the eye injury actually. During the memory at the police station, both of her eyes were fine.
