Hello everyone! Should I watch Tree with deep roots or Six Flying Dragons first?

    I suggest watching Tree first because that’s how they aired. I felt like it works better because that was the original intention by the writers.

      Oh I never knew that. Both are on my list but I didn’t know they were related.

        Tree aired first and is about the promulgation of Hangul. The main character is King Sejong the Great. SFD came a few years later and is about how Goryeo fell and Joseon started. The main character is Lee Bang-won (King Sejong’s father). SFD is a prequel to Tree. 🙂

      Ditto here too. I watched TWDR but still have to watch SFD. I don’t remember who told me that though. Probably @kiara!
