Hahaha. This picture was from the recap so I’ll probably go and watch this bit again. It looks like it might be an old one because it’s a bit damaged. The weave is different from the baskets I make and from his hat in the earlier picture.
Ran out of space to reply down there. If you’ve got a basket to copy you can work out what material was used and the method so yes you can replicate it. We’re still learning so we can’t do everything perfectly yet (oval is harder than round). However like most things the more you practice the better you get. Did you see the photo I posted of the basket on the garden chair? I really like using that willow. It’s called Dicky Meadows.
