    I think it’s her connection with the deposed Queen. The Prince is too young and while the Princess isn’t a danger to take the throne, she is a sort of reminder to the King of his late wife. In addition, the Queen seems to believe that the Princess is ‘an obstacle’ to her getting favored with the King in more than one way.

      Yes it is definitely connection with deposed Queen, that’s why they are desperate. I’m curious if the Queen is still alive or not, and if it’s yes who protected her. I suspect it could be someone powerful.

        We thought the mysterious Min Yoo Hwan will provide the answers but nope. He’s dead and even if he’s not, he didn’t know her whereabouts either.

          I think living in hiding as a wanted list made him more difficult to search more. Maybe now after three years, he finally gave up as there’s nothing much he can do.
          Since he want to prevent the Princess from more trouble,,that’s why he voluntarily back to the town, openly.. and led to his death. It is a relief he left a letter for her, at least he prepared that much.
