Name one drama that everyone’s talking about and full of positive reviews but you weren’t able to watch just yet for no reason at all. Honestly, I don’t why? I should watch it, right?

Still haven’t watched Liar Game or Sungkyunkwan Scandal. I really should get on that…

If you haven’t seen Reply 1988 yet, you definitely should! Go Kyung Pyo’s character and loveline in this show was just the best <3

Yes I absolutely agree that you should.
Will definitely watch it this time, just the right timing since I will have a long weekend soon. Thank you for that great feedback, adds fuel to my interest! 🙂

oh is reply 1988 that good? I loved reply’97 and am for some reason loathe to jinx the experience with the other reply series.. the storylines dont sound as fun either..

Well I never saw or heard any bad review about the drama so I guess it’s pretty good. That’s why it made me think why I still haven’t watch it considering I can surely finish it a couple of days. Lmao.

Definitely good! It’s different from 1997, but still the same if that makes sense? The lovelines are really cute here and the friendships and families every bit as touching as in the first ^^

Sorry to interrupt this Reply 1988 thread, but…
      *excited whispered chanting*
Liar Game! Liar Game! Liar Game! Liar Game! Liar Game!
      Thank you. That’s all.
*tries to sneak out without being spotted*

Haha 😛 I’ve mostly heard great things about it, but tbh I tried the first ep and didn’t much like it, so quit. Feel like I should give it a second chance though.

It is a psychological thriller. It keeps you guessing and thinking.
And, Shin Sung Rok! He is the most delightful villain ever! Not saying he is a villain in Liar Game though.
On the downside, the heroine is very innocent and trusting and naïve, which makes her look stupid. But it is bearable.
And, Shin Sung Rok! Oh, sorry. I am repeating myself here. 😛

Really? Now I know, I’m not the only one. DOTS is one of the best for me and indeed a phenomenal drama which only means that there will really be a drama that almost everyone love which you haven’t been able to watch. You should really watch it btw like how I’m planning to watch Reply 1988 to finally break the curse. Lol.

I both love the leads (and second leads) but I keep on putting it off! Reply 1988 is so good tho!

It’s Liar Game for me. I know it’s a good drama and the dark undertone should be right up my alley, but somehow I just couldn’t watch it.

Time might be an issue with it… Most of the episodes run for around one hour 30 minutes!
But it is definitely worth it! I cared more about the lovely family ties and friendships than about the love story (which was good but not the main thing the show focused on)… Do give it a try for sure 🙂

I didn’t know that! That won’t be an issue for me since I’m always complaining why an episode usually last just an hour. Lol. I will! I will! I like that too. 😀

When I first started watching dramas I was told *repeatedly* to watch Kill Me Heal Me and I tried, I honest to bob tried but the female lead would cock her head back and *scream* ever 3.7 seconds and I wanted to knock her teeth in. I tried it again because its the same writer (I think) as Chicago Typewriter and made it to ep 15 before I decided to quit torturing myself. I love Ji Sung but I love my ears more. I spent the entire time wondering how much better the show would have been with anyone, or anything else (a plant? A mime? a mannequin?) playing her role before I just quit. I get jealous whenever anyone mentions how they started it and are enjoying it so much because I *desperately* want to finish a Ji Sung drama. He’s so talented but he never does anything I actually want to watch (or is ruined by a scream-o lead).

Ohmy! I really feel you. Won’t be able to explain that as thorough as you had. Haha. You got me laughing there, a mime and all. 😂
